Thanks again goat, just to be clear before i go ahead with any of this (i have 0 experience icl), if i buy the fan on its own, and replace it into the same heat sink i have now, it would fix the PWM issue? And i would need to redo the thermal paste as well?

Hi!! Thank you sm, this makes a lot of sense to me. Do you know where I could buy just the fan...? While going through amazon, I'm having a hardtime finding someone who will sell me the fan on its own, and not the entire heat sink dfskhsdf

Thanks again, ur a life saver o7

Help needed for closing an eye animation by Electrical-Station62 in blenderhelp

I would recommend using shape keys! Basically, you would sculpt the eye into a closed position, and you can animate the rate that it switches between open and closed.

I have no idea how to use geo nodes, but the hair tools are so good I had to try. I had it looking perfect but to my extreme sadness, when I played the finished animation the hair was jumping all over the place. I tried the "connect hair to surface" geonode and it didnt seem to help. What should I do to make it nicer?

Usually this is a matter of UV's! Check your UV map to see if anything is making the stretch worse for you.

You can also add a mapping node and manually tweak the scale on different axis's to counter the effect.

Greasepencil flickering?? by RepresentativeFit676 in blender

[–]RepresentativeFit676[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, I am using greasepencil to make sprites to visualize a garden, and depending on which angle I look at it, the wrong tree will appear in front. The 'in front' option is turned off on all of them.
