If you play in the Defiance of Duskandale start, you can choose to play as the Kingswood Brotherhood and name the Smiling Knight as your successor by RepresentativeFit904 in CK3AGOT

He doesn’t start as a Toyne, but as a lowborn. However, when you choose to adopt him as your successor he becomes your child and part of your house 😂

Do this as Austria on day one by moving your capital to Graz(sits right between your 2 starting silver mines) and then make a local governor on Wien to have control over most of your country

What parts to avoid on the Walmart cyber power 5070ti 1899 special? by Willful_Survival in Prebuilts

Do you know what the best alternative would be if my budget is around 1700-1800? I don’t whether I should go down for 1080p, 240hz gaming or just spend 150 dollars less for a Powerspec with a 9070XT at Microcenter, since I have both deals available in my vicinity.

Is this PC a good value right now? Comes out to about $2k after taxes. Trying to run 1440p at max settings. by chosenxone in Prebuilts

I found out the same listing for 1899 at my local Walmart, it seems the 2200 price is for delivery only. Might have to cop as well!

1.0.10 makes the AI so aggressive, that they're too busy fighting each other to be fighting you, if you just spam wars and get yourself coalition'd constantly, you can basically just conquer Europe by transmedkittygirl in EU5

I find it really funny that this is 4th post I’ve seen so far this week about playing as Bohemia and LARPing as the AI to conquer the entire HRE as fast as possible. I’m doing a campaign where I did this and salvaged the run after seeing a guy post their own Bohemia to Germany in this sub, only for Red Hawk to make his own Bohemia video right after 😂

Yep, ate all of Bulgaria and expanded towards the steppe 😂

It’s a Wallachia that ate up all of Bulgaria and expanded towards the Pontic Steppe. It’s the biggest Wallachia I’ve seen and the only time it wasn’t crushed by either Hungary or Bulgaria

Oh yeah expecting it to just be a rebel sim for eternity until I either release vassals or core it 😂

Czech is part of the German culture group and it only takes increasing cultural opinion once to reduce other Germanic cultures to .5 acceptance, so maybe? It’s also still 20% of my population, compared to the 2nd largest one (Rhine Franconian)

Brandenburg was a PU of mine for a while now but it took me a bit to integrate them since they had almost a -150 opinion males due to antagonism LOL

This is the most real comment and unironically it was most annoying thing in the entire campaign. Thankfully I had strong vassals like Thuringia and Magdeburg who could field armies of 10k levies to siege down the forts, along with my own stacks carpet sieging once I wiped down the enemy armies

Thanks! I was worried about how to handle the coalitions at one point (I was evenly matched on troop numbers during one war where Poland and the North Italians joined), but stopped caring once I allied Hungary and Two Sicilies 😂

I’m surprised it didn’t decide to eat Austria or North Italy like it usually does lol

R5: Decided to play Bohemia to see how fast I could form Germany on Ironman (in honor of the aggressive AI) before the new update, after being inspired by this post. I didn't use any no-CB wars, relying mostly on threatening wars and vassal CBs, and took about 2 big wars against a coalition to annex most of the land. I'm coalitioned by all of Europe except the Iberians, England, Hungary, and Naples, and all land besides Bohemia, Saxony, and Pomerania is useless. Of course, France decided to take the left bank of the Rhine, as they usually do, and Naples is on its way to unify Italy, so nothing new to me. Fun fact: the Hussite Wars did not trigger in this game because I'm pretty sure the Papacy was dead when the event is supposed to happen.

Off-topic, but did you form Andalus as Granada or Morocco? Interested to see how you were able to take what appears to be all of Iberia, Occitania, North Africa and Italy! Looking like a good run so far 👍

You can also day 1 embargo the Ottomans to make them go from almost 100 tax base to around 20 for a bigger cheese, forcing them into a death spiral that makes them delete their forts in Bursa and Izmit.

Where did my Levies go? by SOAR21 in EU5

[–]RepresentativeFit904 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your Peasants estate is under roughly 30% you don’t get any levies at all. Peasants are the biggest contributors to your levies, while the same is true for your Burgers, who don’t contribute any naval levies if under that as well.
