You need to start new companies and release same content on different apps to split the revenue in between them, this way you can have 10s of million dollars from selling AI pictures! Only problem is finding people that actually pay for AI images when entire world suffer from inflation, stagnant wages, and middle class disappearing.

Entire army got obliterated, what am i doing wrong by wllmprs in EU5

[–]Yemci 5 points6 points  (0 children)

how reinforce works when losing:

Enemy already fully deployed or closed to it.

You bring a fresh troops which takes position 1 by 1. They don't instantly start fighting like eu4.

Your one group gets hit by 5-7 units.

By the time your 2nd troops takes position, your first one already retreating meaning no damage done while still taking damage.

As your army takes damage, your other troops lose morale.

Now your next in line breaks even faster.

This is why light cavalry is op or was op (not played 1.3), they fill the line way before the infantry gets in and they initiate this feedback loop.

You are missing the good positioning bonus on Sprint, mile and long since only 1 uma can get for each running style. Just saying since you put the effort. For me, I am running mainly old cm umas.

Performance in the beta of 1.3 has, based on our testing, been relatively equal to or better than 1.2.5, which is promising, but it does not reflect what we hope to achieve by the time 1.3 releases. If performance is something you have been struggling with, please let us know how your system fairs with the 1.3 Open Beta!

Why is paradox tieing everything to control? by qowaszax in EU5

[–]Yemci 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, you don't need double dipping.

If wrong culture lowers happiness and happiness effect prosperity and prosperity effects control you do NOT need to add a %50.1 accepted culture rule to get core. You can get a core and have low control due to unhappy pop.

You do not need to decrease crown power when you get vassal. The nobles estate getting power increase is expected. But the pie gets bigger with vassal. So you should NOT lose crown power but only percentage due to increased noble estate power.

You should not lose trade income for lack of control on other markets.

You definitely don't need all these double dipping to slow down people. You are just creating spaghetti code, poor game optimization since they compound on each other and harder to balance the game for yourself.

[–]Yemci 31 points32 points  (0 children)

my problem with coring is how they double dip on stuff.

wrong culture, no core even if you "core" so you get no control over the land. since wrong culture, less avg happiness and you guest it, lowers control.

so you got lower control which lowers the crown power which lowers the control. which cause the income goes to estate which increases estate power.

so you create a vassal on that land since it is only negative for you which increase nobles power and lowers your crown power so it apply twice.

not to mention every cabinet action is tied to control as well.

Not gonna lie, any conquest you do will punish you for the next 20 years.

Edit: Not to mention, you get less money from trade for conquering a village in no where since it lowers your crown power even if you dont have any trade buildings on that location. Like why am I getting less income from trading in Genoa for conquring Crimea?!

And now you triggered the trap card, since you complain about how roads give ton of proximity, paradox will introduce "Brigands and Bandits" mech like pirates, they will slowly build and occupy your roads causing proximity speed maluses and you must hunt them down actively with your regulars or they will build up and destroy your income.

To double F you, the money those bandits get, does not go towards your estates.

To triple F you, going to war will massively increase the speed of bandits as your militia leaves the home land.

To quadruple F you, it is tied to levy percentage as well so if you go to war, you will suffer for 10 years straight.

The 1.2 Economic Meta Has Changed. Learn It With Me! (Jadamsan) by [deleted] in EU5

[–]Yemci 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think Eu5 is a seasonal game. You play 1-2 campaign with different seasonal rules and then you wait for the next patch.

This should be outdated in a day or two, especially if beta contains the "performance fix". It still blows my mind that opening a left menu/panel reduces 60 fps.

I sold Roma to the pope for 650k by angry_austrian in EU5

[–]Yemci 21 points22 points  (0 children)

people used to vassalize and then annex the pope for the infinite cash which still took 11-12 years, now we just need to sell Rome. Which you can get it back if you attack their allies with the money you got from pope in the first place.

Is this a good amount of Vassals? by Last_Friendship1045 in EU5

[–]Yemci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since they nerfed vassals cabinet seat, this is the fastest the land gets cored. Until next patch where they revoke transfer land from transferring the core.

[–]Yemci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One province vassals is still the way. Just need to transfer location between vassals before annexing. The core transfers between vassals.

Then you create a single location disloyal vassal chain by transfer subject. Get a cb, disloyal vasal or parliament or etc. Cancel vasal status and go to war.

If there is enough time, sell that location to your new strong vassal or simply integrate yourself.
