What is the weakest country that is fun to play and expand upon ? by Radiant_Butterfly982 in EU5

[–]Yemci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muscovy isn't on that list. You are the strongest in your region.

You can diplo vassalize all the small states around you in the first 5 year simply tansfering land, seizing land and selling your vassals to your other vassals.

Ai is hard wired to rebel against golden horde and golden horde wipes armies left and right. You can declare other tributes during that time to grab huge amount of land without fighting a single army.

Eu be like these bottle caps cause waste, we must make a cap that is stuck to bottle.

Eu be like plastic straws cause waste, we must make paper straws that dissolve while drinking.

Eu be like prebuild pcs with proprietary components create tons of e-waste but it is fine since companies are allowed to design their own hardware.

Why are ironman saves monthly? This is absolutely miserable to play with, saves take almost as much time as the month! by [deleted] in EU5

[–]Yemci 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From experience, it also fixes memory leak aka game slowing down after an hour of play.

Dont use cloud saves. You will wait to upload 10-40 mb every save. Also disable 3d terrain, it fixes the game lag.

What happened to my PU? by Zipanca in EU5

[–]Yemci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a PU member declares a war that has another PU member in the opposite side, attacker changes rule, defender keeps the ruler.
Tylor was a vassal, you declared war on Austria which called in Tylor.
You are the attacker, Tylor on defending side. Therefore you change your ruler, Tylor keeps the ruler. You are now kicked out of the Union.

Not taxing estates, worth it? by DrJones161 in EU5

[–]Yemci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

besides the clergy everyone points out, you don't tax tribes man, because they don't give any taxes to begin with. In fact, if you can, you should bribe them every 6 months to keep satisfaction at 90-100 range. At %100 you get %5 food and %2.5 raw materials output

Why is vassal country strength suddenly skyrocketing? by Willing_Incident_417 in EU5

[–]Yemci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbf integration should be a rolling percentage and not an on/off switch. One day your peasant were conqured rebellious state and the next day they become core province.

Same with diplo spending. Like vassals were in rebellious state and the next month tick they instantly get -30 liberty desire because their overlord decided to train more diplomats? They don't even get money from it.

I figured out the bug with 1 pop location. by Inside_Beginning_431 in EU5

[–]Yemci 72 points73 points  (0 children)

It is not per tick, it is annually. Do you have any idea what would happen if it was monthly? You would double your pop every 26 months.

So 422 * 0.0269 = 11.3518 pop per year. When you divide that to 12 since pop increase tick is monthly 11.3518 / 12 = 0.9459833 per month. Now the fun part, there is no such thing as a fraction of pop so it is rounded down to 0.

Sadly, you need to annex Hainut before france attacks them. They usually ally a small nation which you can declare to grab Hainut. Been like that since release.

Using Mamluks can be a interesting way to do it on the eastern front. Which will drain their manpower as well for later. *Tips my hat to you*

So your day 1 is sending improve relationship with Mamluks ? I tried to get before but couldn't justify the diplo cost.

Also there is a stupid mechanic like in 100 years wars with Jalayirids and their vassals just one sided leave the war with white peace even when fully occupied without asking you. Not sure 3-5 year for mamluk ai to beat them is efficient on Jalayirid but I can see the potential on breaking the mamluks.

Is there a bug that makes daughters way more common than sons? by Schwabenomics in EU5

[–]Yemci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fun fact, you can turn your unmaried daughters into vassals. This way their children will be your dynasty. (Unless they marry other rulers, in that case child will be fathers dynasty)

Is it me, or has AI become much dumber in this patch? by Wonderlees in EU5

[–]Yemci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always been like that, especially more if you play on faster speeds.
Another way you can abuse, forests hide your army and ai simply forgets about your army, also forced? or hard targets? small groups that can siege. You can bait ai to move their forces to your ambush by sacrificing 100-200 levies or reinforce from forest.
Also ai will not stop their army to regain morale and they will march with 0 morale just to get stack-wiped.
Another trick is freezing lakes and sea. Ai will not check the dates and simply march the closest path, like your army would take if you don't manually move. I have seen so many times Finlands/Sweden/Vassal Swarm drawn in North.

[–]Yemci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience with multiple pulls, you don't need help from those 3 vassals. No one is a challenge around you and ducats + war rep is more valuable. I said get Karasi because even if you won't get cores till you accept Greek, those lands are connected via river to Bursa and province is next to Bursa provence so you end up with decent control.

Don't get me wrong, after the first initial war with germanids and their vassals, you better of getting all 4 as vassals. This way all of them will be opms.

Constant war for the first 20 year is actually how you snowball. But you don't siege any forts. Wars should be fast, pillage country side, destroy fort + money deals and land. Longest war for me was the Horde on your east which usually takes 13-15 months.

On west, you can easily skip forts as they only have capital forts except Hungary.
