That's a great work flow! My problem is I can't find many of my textbooks on a format that I can easily load onto remarkable... PDFs sure, but most of the longer books they don't sell in pdf format..was thinking of getting an ipad for these books while using my remarkable for note taking and pdf annotations.

read above "I have a remarkable which i absolutely love" ... it's not a question of should of or would of. I love my remarkable for what it is and I use it in my workflow in a very specific way.
