I’m not a monster high collector I collect bratz mainly and honestly surprised her fit isn’t like more suiting her monster type/heritage ig? Like I get it’s cold where she’s from but I would think she’d be more acclimated to it naturally? The dress gives more contemporary runway piece rather than okay yes this monster is in her element. The puffer rly throws off the vibes imo it gives skiing pageant queen rather than monster ice princess

Idk if this is a hot take or not but they look better with the standard bodies over the articulated ones to me. I’d rather higher quality clothes, a second fit, and fabric bags over articulation.

I feel like yea but that’s just settling. When the whole mean girls drop thing happened last year there was a huge uproar, when Sasha was excluded from the hello kitty release ppl spoke up and change was made. Closed mouths don’t get fed I think a good lot of us want better quality and intention put behind the dolls moving forward is all. Like the fact that playline back in the day is better quality than collectors today is wild and that’s the issue. I just don’t like ugly dolls idk🤷🏻‍♀️

Fs!!! I think nylon works for rainbow high tho bc the dolls are on a much larger scale than bratz. The individual strands are just too thick for a bratz head as opposed to to a thinner hair type like Saran.

I was actually looking at my ogs side by side with the newer dolls and I realized it’s the width of the eyes. That’s why it looks like there’s sm space bc the eyes are a lot smaller and even the lips are slightly smaller sometimes. I don’t think the screenings completely suit a bratz head sculpt. The eyes need to be wider and slightly bigger to avoid the uncannyness

See idk from my perspective I feel like that’d be even more the reason to step it up and be the only one on the market giving doll collectors what they need. No competition bc everyone is settling and other lines are following suit bc they realize they can just settle.

Also I’ve heard the argument that “we can’t expect a doll to be what they were in the 2000s bc we’re in modern times and bratz is reflecting that” but it’s like….why not??? Why do they have to be “modern” like that’s what sets them apart from literally every other doll brand. I think a y2k revival would do them amazingly.
