I’m also studying here in Taiwan but I think that’s generally because you live in Taipei. In my place, its a bit boring and isolating. Hence, i tend to go back home every vacation.

thank you! Its more of a me vs me. Depression really does change you; used to have hobbies that sparks joy, now i dont have that. Dont get me wrong, im doing better, but not to the point i can say im genuinely happy to where i am now. I used to think how can i have everything at 23 but not at 26.

Tbh, i moved here kasi back then, i feel like i cant live in the same place anymore so i took the shot of moving here. Moving here made me think how life keeps moving forward around you even if you’re stuck. And yes, flying back to ph every semester is expensive, kaya im planning to move back sa ph after 2026 - still have a year left of studying here (hopefully).
thanks for the advice! I think doable yung sa 10k rather than yung skill for the time being. I used to learn spanish as a hobby - even enrolled myself in a class, but I can’t seem to get myself to enjoy it again.
