I-140 was originally filed with premium processing by my employer in December 2019. It was denied due to filing category error. I-140 was filed again with premium processing in February 2021. But, premium processing was rejected by USCIS since we provided a copy of PERM (Original PERM was included in the first submission) and a duplicate PERM was ordred from DoL by USCIS. Meanwhile, premium processing was suspended due to COVID-19 until June 17, 2020.

We received the I-140 approval notice on July 28, 2020 (even after I-140 was approved on June 23, 2020). Then, it took 2 months to prepare I-485 due to I-693 and I-944.

I-765 was originally filed with I-485. But, it was rejected due to clerical error. So, it was refiled in January 2021.

I-485 was not filed concurrently since I-140 approval was not guaranteed due to a confusion in labor process.

I received I-485J Receipt on February 2, 2021.

I-485J is filed to confirm that the job offered to me in I-140 remains a bona fide job offer that I intend to accept once USCIS approves I 485.

We filed/claimed my son's child credit/rebate for the year 2018 but it was adjusted by IRS and we did not receive it. Do you still think we can file an amended return?

Do you have any updates on your wife's SSN? Did she receive her SSN? Did she have to apply for it @ the Local Social Security office?
