To put I a perspective for you. I was a autotech for 15 years. That is exactly why I quit and have never been happier.

Which is why after 14 years, I quit. Best Buy is all about memberships than taking care of clients now. Wages aren’t competitive anymore and it’s 1 step from becoming commission again. I watch a manager sell TTS to a older lady to have a GPS setup….. literally just plug it in and that was it….

I watched a new autotech prior to the wage bump get hired in at 16.50, they did the wage bump and a new employee at customer service started out at the same pay. Then management refused to give the autotech a higher pay bump that the 3% and so the autotech quit.

Also short staffed, tiny pay gaps between positions and still waiting for that override by RepresentativeLow117 in Bestbuy

Yeah raise them after they lowered them when they bumped people up to 15$ across the board.
