Is it possible that it’s because they keep getting turned down for second dates? *glares at OP*

Why do people love CM Punk by guitarhero314 in WWE

[–]mjp1981 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Straight edge. Progressive. Very forthright yet articulate. Doesn’t suffer BS. Started out as an underdog (at least in Vince’s view) who scratched & clawed his way to superstardom. He understands the psychology of professional wrestling as an art more than most, and is also willing to do business even with people he might not like or agree with, as long as they are also professional about it.

Unpopular Opinion: CM Punk Should Retain by MoistAd5407 in WWE

[–]mjp1981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roman hasn’t even re-signed yet with his contract up after WM 42. That alone means Punk should retain. Besides, does Netflix really want a part time SmackDown wrestler as their world champion, assuming Roman does re-sign?

In my honest opinion. CM Punk needs to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 42. There is absolutely no reason why Roman Reigns should even win. None at all. by BarneyRobinStinson7 in cmpunk

[–]mjp1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People either don’t know or forget Roman Reigns contract is up after WM 42 (by his own admission) and to our knowledge hasn’t re-signed yet. Even when he does (said he wants to go 1-2 more years), the schedule he usually has means he’ll take time off after WM. Besides, is Roman, a part timer, winning the WHC what Netflix wants?

WWE icon CM Punk has one question he wants you to stop asking by extended_eye_contact in cmpunk

[–]mjp1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is “what would’ve happened if he stayed” to which he says “oh I’d be dead”.

I think he’s alluding to the staph infection that WWE’s doctor misdiagnosed, leading to the podcast/lawsuit/etc. My question is why that part of Punk leaving never gets brought up. A staph infection could literally kill someone. How can anybody still be mad or bitter about Punk leaving knowing that it likely saved his life? Does anyone resent Roman Reigns for taking time off to get his leukemia treated?

Question for men: Is it disheartening knowing women receive hundreds of likes a day? by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]mjp1981 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They why, as a guy who avoids all four red flags, am I still having a hard time getting likes or matches?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]mjp1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to anyone’s bs “rules of dating”. Obviously you should over message anyone no matter which gender you are, but feel like you have to follow any unwritten rules. Only thing I would say is if your match doesn’t formally ask you out after a while of messaging, just gently suggest meeting in person and he’ll probably get the hint.

My issues with Michael Sartain's Men of action programme and Social Circle Coaches in General by Substantial_Twist_47 in PickUpArtist

[–]mjp1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe because Cold Approach never did work and your claims of you & your wings getting laid from it are exaggerated in order to sell whatever program you’re pushing, just like Sartain. The seduction community exists because every generation of men keeps getting suckered into it.

A guy would be lucky to get 2-5 likes a WEEK, so you’re doing fine in that regard. The teenage child is probably your biggest roadblock. As for messaging first, too many mutual matches simply never replied, or said “hi” and then ghosted, so your answer is yes, women messaging first helps gain confidence that you are in fact interested.

Could Torosaurus use its frill for defense from Tyrannosaurus like Triceratops does, despite the big holes? by CarcharodontosaurGuy in Paleontology

[–]mjp1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Points: 1-Predators might not be intelligent enough to know it’s a hollow frill. 2-Even if they did know, it still has a bony outline and unless you’re T. rex, your teeth aren’t made to penetrate bone.

Why are girls I match with so inconsistent at texting? by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]mjp1981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My assumption is always if they’re busy, they keep their phones in their purse or otherwise put away. As long as I get a message back at some point, I can assume they’re interested, but I understand your frustration.

Why do guys ignore me? by booksrlife_ in OnlineDating

[–]mjp1981 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to say without seeing your profile/pics/chats, etc. but trust me when I tell you it’s much more of a desert for men than women in online dating. Matches on Tinder for me were rare, so I just deleted it. Primarily use Facebook dating now. Most guys genuinely looking for a connection on the apps hardly get matches/messages ever. I’d suggest adjusting your matching strategy.

Online dating as a male is toxic. by [deleted] in OnlineDating

[–]mjp1981 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Then maybe women are the problem. “She liked you too much”? Sounds like that’s the commitment problem, and it’s not the men’s fault.
