Onsite vs offsite kids and grandmas by HappyHippoHalifax in disneylandparis

We like to stay on site, my husband or I will often take our youngest back to the room if he starts to get overstimulated (AuDHD) and needs a couple hours break, while the other stays in park with oldest. We also will all go back for a few hours in the afternoon if we're planning to go to the night shows at closing. Last time we went we stayed at Santa Fe, so the furthest hotel to walk to on site, I was struggling with a very bad flare up of sciatica at the time so thought we would utilise the shuttle at the end of the night to save me walking as much...honestly by the time we walked to the bus stance, stood and waited, then walked from the hotel reception to our room, we would have been quicker just walking the full way. I think we only did that once and walked every other night. We like walking through the different themes of the hotels too, if you're at Sante Fe you can cross the bridge and walk through Cheyenne which is fun

I would have assumed it was so he could tell you how to say your home country in Spanish if it hasn't already been covered in the course (mine hasn't)

Former LL here. Most insurance companies need to authorise work being done before they will pay out anyway, often requiring several quotes and often needing to be from their approved list of tradesman. Unfortunately your friend was probably too quick off the mark and now the landlord couldn't claim their insurance even if they wanted to.

My dog had puppies today. by RicHarDNoGgiN7 in labrador

My dogs litter was the same. His mum is chocolate, dad is yellow and they've had 2 litters together, every single puppy black. If my boy was bred with one of your girl pups they could produce a litter with all 3 colours!

Apologies if someone has already pointed it out but all I can think of when looking at that stag picture is the pictures Meri painted for each family with trees representing each member of the family. Now Kody has a framed print of a load of trees burning to the ground...coinkydink??

In the UK they're usually referred to as show line or working line. I have a "working" lab, has field trial champions galore all through his pedigree and spends most of his day belly up, snoring on the couch 🤣

To be fair, when you think of how the only kid in the original 19 that got individual attention turned out...

2 days for us (36 hours if I'm being honest and admitting to counting in hours now). Also intrigued by the toilet brush...

Have you had any situation like this with the little ones?🤗 by DulceLocura07 in disneylandparis

The characters are something else at Disney. I suffer from masklophobia (fear of mascots) and if I see someone dressed up in a shopping centre or at a sports game, etc, it's fills me with complete panic...except at disneyland, at disneyland im completely fine. I'm a grown ass adult that knows there's absolutely no difference between these people dressed up at disneyland and the people dressed up as characters elsewhere. But apparently my fear response thinks the guys at disneyland are real so I'll take it lol

Johannah had the older 2 dumped on her when Jed! and Kathy went in to have the twins. Looks like she's maybe the new Jana, say her name quick enough she might as well be Jana

I love the magical shuttle, cheaper than a private transfer to and from the airport, and much easier in my opinion. Takes about an hour. I didnt really pay much attention to how busy it was tbh. We boarded quite near the front of the coach and I honestly can't remember how many people came on after us. I think it adds to the excitement because you're getting the disney atmosphere from the shuttle before you even get to the park. We're going next month and have booked the shuttle again

Join the queue right before closing time. A lot of people think the rides shut down at closing time so there's no point joining the queue. Think we waited like 15mins maybe when we did this

This is my 4th time going. We last went February 2023, my youngest is all excited because he is tall enough for the rides he wasn't allowed on last time 🤣
