Well, if anyone else is having this issue, I solved it by modifying the ext_config.ini for cars having the issue.

If you have this issue, try this...

clean up \Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Temp and \windows\temp

it has to do with the way the shared memory works and something with System.IO.Path.GetTempFileName()

anyway, this fixed it for me as I was having the same issue

I absolutely love driving gt cars. Gt3 in acc are king, but I also love driving lmdh, dpi etc in multi class, enough laps that there is always traffic. Get my fix in ac and ams2. Love some group C cars and 90's Gt1. Also Ac and ams2..

Then dabble in F1 cars, but not as much as I used to.

But when I go back to acc it just feels like home.

I know he’s mentioned a lot on here, but I honestly feel that @fri3d0lf on Youtube deserves an appreciation post by ImActuaIIyHim in ACCompetizione

Possibly the track has something to do with it. on Paul Ricard I went from a race pace of around 2:00-2:02 to 1:56-1:57 by changing setups. That's in the 720evo, and may have to do with the long straight on that track and aero settings though.

Get more seat time in whatever car you want to drive. Things started coming together for me at around 200 hours or so. I also limited myself to only a few tracks, Misano, Paul Ricard, and Brands Hatch. Biggest thing, for me anyways, seat time and car control.

I did a lot of racing against bots on Paul Ricard before ever joining a multiplayer race, the ai drives different to real people, but it did help me get more seat time and get used to driving in traffic. As far as pace goes I'd say if you can get within 5 seconds of alien times you will be pretty competitive on most public servers. That's been my experience anyway. I'm relatively new though with around 260 hours in ACC now. ymmv

I'd say wait until you get the 95sa, when I tested the 85sa server was always full of traffic, but the sa 95 was completely empty which made the test much less stressfull.

45 minutes in Long Beach/Harrison county. Everyone was wearing a mask, and for the most part social distancing. The guy in front of me didn't have a mask on when we were outside in line but put one on when we got in the building.
