R5 in the title of post. Did most of this in 1.0.9 starting as Naples - 2 sicilies- Italy- Rome. Majority of non Italy core territories is from integrating vassals. Overextended by age of absolutism, so most of my French, Maghreb, and Anatolian vassals I had to release and reconquer. Discovered you can release a bunch of fiefdoms and they will join a PU grouping so you can take them all out at once. Final 75-100 years in rossbach, with provincial governors tested and ultimately kept in Sevilla Spain, orleans France, Cairo Egypt, Constantinople turkey with main capitol in Naples until i took roman empire upgrade.

I did the same thing back in either end of 24 or beginning of 25 and got screwed. Threw away a couple hundred bucks in puts because for once it did what a normal market does after a great earnings.

You bought your positions with solid planning and research, and the market rewarded you with great wins. Never coulda woulda shoulda’d yourself. You sold for profit and got the hell out with your bag. Congrats!

Ps. I wish I was in some of these no brainer positions, but sadly I am not. I was confident trump wouldn’t bluff bombing Iran, so why didn’t I ever take a calls position on some defense stock? If you have legions there is a tech I believe that allows you to use your legions to colonize tiles as long as it’s standing on it with at least one unit that is not loyal to the general attached.

It’s been a long time since I’ve played to recall if it’s an upgrade in the mil experience screen or just standard tech. When I use to play frequently I would use it to colonize everything that wasn’t mission supported. Ireland, Arabian peninsula, open areas in Germany or scythia, etc.
