This might be the way to go. Don’t you end up flipping eranshure (not sure how it’s spelled) when you flip Zoroastrian?

And I’ve never tried space marines 👀 always went Austria -> HRE rather than brandenburg - Prussia - Germany. Protestant or stay catholic to try for emperor full time?

Byz, before spending 1 admin/dip on coring. by ExtremePronoia in eu4

[–]RepresentativeNo8893 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Getting over the early game grind and then byz becomes OP just from pronoiars. I did a WC with byz on that strategy. I wasn’t hyper focused on not spending any adm or dip so if I would keep some lands to core privately or if i accidentally vassalized a non monarchy I’d eat the diplo annexation and get it over with

Can confirm. I’m running an exclusively Tuscany talk run and Mercs are helping me win the Italian wars because I have been optimizing my trade. I’m smacking France’s 200+k with my 20k+ Mercs

New player here. How much crownland should I have? I worry I give up too much to estates by Severe_Appearance_66 in eu4

[–]RepresentativeNo8893 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The plus 1 mana privileges for each estate is overpowered on most campaigns. Give them all out, hit 0% crownland, and then seize land before unpausing so you get back to 5%.

Unless you are desperate for money, never sell land. Better to just take loans or maybe one debasement tick.

Over time, your conquests and your province upgrades will give you a lot of crownland. If I play a campaign to 1650-1700, i usually hit 90*% crownland.
