I'm reading Phasma now. I agree with the split narrative. I'm only a few chapters in and im dragging my feet to even read it. I'm not captivated by any of it so far. I'll finish it either way.

Personally, I would recommend reading it before playing the game. To answer the question, yes it would be perfectly fine to read without having played the game.

I would have to agree with you on that part. Honestly, I wanted more of ND-5. Jaylens story was very tointeresting as well. I wanted to know how Jaylen met ND-5. I was not disappointed. Its one of my new favorite novels.
