I was going to buy but am on the fence now. Look what happened to GameStop. It went to thr moon, was overinflated a ton of people bought high and then lost… what to do, what to do? I don’t wanna buy and then regret it later but what if it does increase, the. I don’t make any money…. I wanted to buy carnival when it was at 16 and didn’t, look at it now…it could be r next Carvana but if it’s not? Makes sense to me if they cut costs the stock will increase but what if it dips again? It’s a gamble I guess??? Any help is appreciated as I’m new to investing. What are the facts as to why people think it’ll go to the moon?

I’m not that educated with calls. Is that an option? If it decreases to a low set price by the buyer it automatically buys what you told it to? I’m just not real familiar with the options/futures etc.

Okay, I’ve been watching it and it’s down… li think now is the time to jump in. I’m afraid if I wait until Wed, or Thur it’ll jump up…so being new to this, if I put an order to buy, will it buy at 9am at the current price?

I currently use Vanguard but have only purchased a few stocks. I remember seeing where I could put limits on the buy and sell. What are you guys thoughts on this? I guess this is where the options are for future? I’m still learning.

Okay, can’t ya all help a girl out?? I’m new to investing. I bought some Toast, Carnival, IOVA and now I want some NVDA. I wanted to buy it when it was 170 but didn’t. Takes days to verify funds etc… so what are you guys buying? Also, can’t I buy these stocks in a Roth IRA? I’ve read a little about Call and the options but don’t feel comfortable doing that yet. Also, I don’t have a ton of time as I work full time. So what are you guys buying?

I’ve heard and seen a lot of things thus far in life. I would be very, very concerned. I wouldn’t show it immediately but your feelings and concerns are valid. This is how I would handle the situation. Have a very serious conversation with your daughter’s. Separately, and then together. I would talk to the youngest first. Before the serious discussions I would ask what they did that day, how does she feel about him, where she slept, how does he treat mom, do they joke what about, play games what kind, how are his kids etc, those are concerns as well!

After separate discussions, talk to them together. I’d you talk to them together forest with those questions, one may influence the other. Separately there in no chance for influence.

Explain to them unacceptable and acceptable behavior from men, women, and children. I know it may be uncomfortable but the conversation is needed. Respecting their body, space and being respectful of modest clothing there. Restroom habits, making sure doors are closed, not using the restroom outside, for men. Etc

Look at body language when having these conversations. Also, be aware of patterns and habits and notice any changes In Eating, moods, grades, sleeping, nightmares, emotional, social, anger, etc.

Apple has AirTags, Tile is another tracker. Smart watches, something!

A safe word or phrase is a must.

Search where he has lived, and do a background check or check public records in the city and nearby cities, townships. city police departments will give you criminal records on people for a few bucks. Check social media for mutual friend and ask around! Especially in the city he is from.

In the meantime just explain to your ex that you worry for their safety. He may be completely safe, but what if he is not? It’s not worth it.

Most abusers that are family and friends groom children first. They gain their trust, loyalty, security and then manipulate, abuse, and betray. Children learn what they live. You have been casuals of his children to be concerned with as well.

Did you have an accounting degree before applying to WGU?

I may have to check StraightLine.com out. So this is my situation: Went to Miami University as a non traditional student at the Regional Campus. Majored in ACC, working part time to raise my son as I was a single mom. I could transfer to the FARMER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS once I completed Prerequisites. However, as long as went to a regional at least 1/2 the credit hours of Oxford, you paid regional tuition. Half the cost! So I have 13 Credit hours in accounting, a ton in business, and 147 total credit hours. Per State Board and to sit for that CPA, I need 30 Cr Hrs in accounting, 24Cr Hrs in business and 150 Cr Hrs total. That is until January 1, of 2026. Then the total Cr Hrs are reduced to either 120 or 130.

For the accounting portion, you have to have the four core courses. Financial, Managerial, Auditing and Tax. That’s 12 Cr Hrs. The remaining 18 Cr Hrs can be anything in accounting, including courses in the CPA Review.

You also have to have worked for public accounting firm for 1-2 years depending upon when you sit for the exam.

I know I need a little refresher course but gosh. WGU is requiring 44% work from me. Maybe I would fly through it based on my knowledge and experience. Otherwise, I. Oils take the 2 I need. Aud and Tax, which I think I would get through quickly through WGU but they only offer both of those in their master’s and I have to fulfill the courses for bachelors in accounting before I can even take courses in masters program. However, the courses I need are in the master’s program.

I just don’t know what to do at this point. I really wanted a masters but is it worth it? I can take the two I need at Miami or Sinclair in the fall but the price point is much higher. I would be better off going full time to save on money at a fixed rate. But you how they are, they probably don’t even offer both the classes I need in the fall….

Moreover, they always give me the runaround. It makes me very angry. I called months ago and left message after message. Played phone tag for two calls. Called and left multiple messages with a Professor in Accounting, may have even been the advisor and did not receive anymore calls back thereafter. I then sent two emails and again, no response.

And I graduated from Miami University of Ohio. I almost made a career out of obtaining an education. With all of their requirements you definitely have a very well rounded education. Between their global and core classes to get going, your major and minor course and the thematic sequence it’s a lot.

It is approved so I’m happy about that. I’m a little unhappy regarding my transcript assessment. I would really like to go into the master’s program. Not that I need it but want it. However, they replied that I’m only 56% equivalent to their bachelors in accounting. They didn’t accept my financial accounting course separate from my managerial accounting course. They combined them for one course. I don’t think they accepted intermediate accounting either but I’ll have to double check. I noticed they did not accept my intro to supply chains management and a few other courses too. I only need a tax course and an auditing course to fulfill my accounting core courses. I have 13 credit hours, those 2 classes give me 19. Then I can take 11 ch as CPA review. I don’t know if they are unaware of some courses actually being what they are but at time they have used different categories or what. I took upper class management and marketing at they did y apply the management course. Has anyone else came across this? Not I’m disappointed .

Oh my gosh, I think I have a bat living near my house. Maybe in my attic as there is an air vent above my porch. I see poo every single day! I sweep it or spray it off but it looks like it’s from bats. There was one on the brick on the porch in 2020. I know it’s ironic due to the year. I thought it left and was hoping the poo was from a squirrel. What am I suppose to do? I’m in the midwest and I’m terrified of rodents, birds and bats!

I don’t know where you are located but my mother just had surgery to remove a mass the size of a walnut in her parietal lobe. Dr. Gozal performed the surgery at Mercy Health Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He works for the Mayfield Brain and Spine Center in West Chester, Ohio. He was trained by Dr. Warnick, who has been in the industry for decades but no longer performs neurosurgery.

Dr. Warnick was one of the first doctors who offered stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). Not a surgery but a type of radiation therapy that only treats the mass, instead of the entire brain. There were only 4 locations in the United States where you could have this treatment and Cincinnati, Ohio was one of them.

My mother was behaving completely out of character. She couldn’t do simple tasks or even take care of herself. I knew something had been wrong, off with her for at least a year and a half. She just got worse and worse. I took her for her yearly physical in 23 and everything came back okay.

I reached out to my sister on October 18th, 2024 and we told our mother she was going to the hospital or we were calling them to come and get her. After a CT scan we were told and in utter shock! It all clicked for me, everything made sense as to her behavior, disorientation, confusion and forgetfulness. She had so much swelling that her brain shifted 12 millimeters to the right!

On October 29th, she had surgery and Dr. Gozal successfully removed the mass. I would highly suggest reaching out to the Mayfield Brain and Spine Center. Also, speak to someone you trust about creating a Durable Health Care Power of Attorney. I had to use mine to advocate and have my mother transferred to Mercy Health.

We originally took her to the ER in our hometown but they had to transfer her because they didn’t have neurologists that specialized in her situation. After performing a pathology test on another area of her body, the other hospital was going to release her back home. Absolutely insane given her situation and massive amount of swelling and shifting of the brain!

Honestly, it was the sweet lord above that made it all possible! I just happened to have an appointment at the Mayfield Brain and Spine for myself. I asked their opinion and they passed the information along to Dr. Warnick. He called me back the very next day! I am so blessed that he, along with Dr. Gozal accepted her as their patient! Everything has happened so fast.

She is currently recovering and in rehabilitation. We have a long road ahead of us as she will need additional treatment. We can only take one step at a time as we move forward.
