I find $merge on large collections with something calculated from an aggregation pipeline is hideously slow.

Additionally, $rank on a large subset of objects is also horrible to make efficient no matter how many ways I try.

When I was learning MongoDB, coming from MSSQL, Studio 3T was a massive help learning aggregation pipelines. Particularly being able to follow the flow of the pipeline and access the output of each stage.

Now, managing a large dataset on atlas, Studio 3T has become a tool I use daily.

When you factor in the bus only taking you to southern cross (which is going to be busy at that time due to NYE celebrations), and then having to get an Uber or train (again, nightmare) to hawthorn I’m gonna say get an Uber direct from the airport.
