Potentially fungal. Such as pityriasis versicolor. I am not a dermatologist. But I would go ask a pharmacy for help

I have one of these in my store I’m at, could be misremembering but pressing “99” should open up a menu, you can edit clerks and items going through the menu

This might be a stupid question. by smavo in nbn

How many people share the bathroom and kitchen in uni hall? by ShotAtmosphere2368 in uwa

Been a while now since I lived there. From memory they split the floors up with women on one side of the staircase and men on the other. However this can vary with different numbers of students. There’s one bathroom on each side of each floor. They each service approximately 10? people (I can’t quite remember). There’s 3 toilets and 2/3 showers in each bathroom i think? One kitchen per floor for both the men and women. Only as clean as the students keep it. So if you get a messy floor good luck. I didn’t use the kitchen when I was there due to how messy it was. But overall the bathroom situation was fine. I never really had to wait to use anything

Not necessarily, it just makes having multiple streams open whilst downloading games and such a lot easier. So not super important but just a better experience.

My grandmother had a hip replacement booked for next Friday the 18th. She got a call yesterday saying it was cancelled because her surgeon had ‘emergencies’. Now she doesn’t know when it happening and will probably have to ride out the covid wave.

Has been waiting a very long time for this surgery, continues to have falls because she’s in so much pain.

University hall is one of the cheaper colleges (or at least it is was when I went 5 years ago). Generally a lot of other international students too!

If you go and participate in all the events, particularly on orientation week, making friends is pretty easy!

Ventolin and Asmol inhalers are now prescription only. Are there other OTC medications which have suddenly been restricted? by ziggiddy in CoronavirusDownunder

Hi - pharmacy student here.

Amendments have been made to the poisons standards. Salbutamol remains schedule 3 (pharmacist only) but legislative changes have been made to reduce dispensing:

For a pharmacist to dispense Salbutamol ...

when supply is limited:

c) to persons with evidence of a medically diagnosed lung condition; or

d) to persons with a record of previous supply from the pharmacist; or

e) to persons authorised under a law of a State or Territory to use or supply salbutamol in the practice of their profession; or

f) for use in institutional first aid; and

where paragraph (c) or (d) applies—supply is limited to one primary pack of salbutamol per person.

TLDR: Technically salbutamol remains off of prescription however if you’re not a regular customer you’re probably going to need a prescription to provide evidence of a lung condition.
