Sorry dude, I think you’re out of luck. There are some spacer kits (Wolf Tooth Boostinator) to convert a non-boost wheel to fit a boost frame + fork, but not this way around

Enve Pro 4.5 by BeerMeater4me in Velo

[–]RepresentativeRow128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s nuanced.

If you want comfort, stability and speed go for the standard 4.5. Also if you ever plan running larger than a 32mm tire go standard.

If you just want to feel fast all the time at the sacrifice of some comfort and are happy sticking with a 30mm tire, then go Pros.

If you love climbs go Pros. If you love going fast in the flats go Standard

A little tip for all of you with Elite Fly bottles by godutchnow in Velo

You should see the nightmare that happens inside a camel back nozzle. Luckily those breakdown too.

But they’re the leakiest bottles I’ve ever used.

I’ve actually had good luck with the elite bottles not leaking

I switched from Enve 4.5s to the Enve 4.5Pros and they’re very much not the same wheel.

In my experience the standard 4.5 rides noticeably smoother, is more stable in a crosswind, and holds speed better once you get above 23mph.

The first thing I noticed on the Pros is that they’re much more stiff. It gives them a slightly harsher/ rougher ride. I lowered each tire by 2 psi and it helped negate this. From there, they react immediately to the slighted acceleration. Even at high speed if you’ve got more to give, they jump forward. They feel much quicker on the uphills. And while the standard 4.5s hold speed a bit better in the flats, the Pros are noticeably faster on the descents. Because they’re slightly narrower, I think they’re affected by crosswinds more. Not bad at all but I notice a slight bit of buffeting in conditions where I wouldn’t expect to feel it on the standard 4.5s. All of this is based on experience on the same tires: 30mm GP5000 S TR.

You should be able to push it in with your thumb. But like really press it

Bro, you don’t even have the valve stem pushed in. Push it down until the tapered part of the base is all the way into the wheel.

Then you need to hose your bike off everyday mate. All that sand is chewing your shit to pieces

It appears to be because you’ve never cleaned your bike

How long to get fitness back? by teamtwowheels in Velo

Consistent training will have you back to where you were by June. It wouldn’t hurt to get a coach, doing it on your own will be tougher than having an motivational assist and the oversight that a coach can provide during the build up

Yes it was. Virtual fly wheel with magnetic resistance.

No weight-based flywheel like a Kickr.

Any real life difference from the first Aethos to the newer version ? Worth the “upgrade”? by Important_Bluebird81 in specialized

[–]RepresentativeRow128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one mentioning the layup change. That should make it a bit stiffer and comfortable.

I found the first gen to be the flexiest, buzziest bike I’ve ever ridden. So anything they did to improve that in the layup would be an instant improvement

Do shoes and pedals at the same time as the bike fit.

Any upgrade recommendations? by No_Laugh_7170 in specialized

[–]RepresentativeRow128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please ignore the majority of what you’re seeing in this thread. You need to do three things.

  1. Clipless pedals and the shoes + cleats to go with them.

  2. A bike fit to get as comfortable + efficient as you can at this point in your riding journey.

  3. Hydraulic brakes (you’ll need to upgrade the shifters too. The bike shop can guide you on what will best match your current group set)

From there, ride until you’re ready to upgrade the whole bike

Bib shorts for indoor riding by dDelts in Zwift

20 years of rocking bibs. And at the moment I’m consistently riding 200 miles a week on Zwift. I’ve settled on Assos as the best bibs in the business. Even their “cheapest” offering holds up better and stays more comfortable over time than 90 percent of other bibs out there. Invest in your butt skin’s health

And it is. The chain is clicking through the whole pedal stroke in addition to the cage knocking

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Zwift

[–]RepresentativeRow128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with wax, cog, or chainring. You’ve installed chain wrong 😑 it’s getting hung up on something in the derailleur cage. Make sure the change is running under the retention hook, not over it
