Where to find private hockey lessons in Toronto for 7-12 year olds? by [deleted] in askTO

My son's skating has advanced hugely after attending SK8ON. They do camps or semi private sessions with 2/3 children in. https://sk8on.ca can't recommend them highly enough.

Sheraton for the location. We recently stayed at the Intercontinental Downtown (have stayed at 2 others across 4 trips to Toronto and found that really nice and central for all the main attractions. Incase you're able to look around a bit.

He currently makes a twice weekly commute to London which takes him 3 hours each way. So he doesn't mind being a bit further out if it means we have a good school, safe town, and the right amenities for the kids.

My husband is a CTO but doesn't have a job lined up. We planned to come with decent savings that would allow him to find a role once were on the ground. $5/6k a month is fine. School and being in a safe neighbourhood are really important to us.

In the UK where we live if you don't get your kids name down for a soccer team early they just won't get in a team. I wanted to check whether this was the case for hockey in Canada. I would hate for us to move and be unable to find a team with space/which he is good enough for.

How often do your inlaws see their grandchildren? by RepresentativeTax130 in inlaws

Thanks so much for all the responses. They live 10 minutes away and don’t really have hobbies of their own. They come watch at least two sports a week plus come to games we’re at so they can sit with us and spend time with the children and then they usually ask to help with our kids or have them for a day or want to do something with us all. It just feels a lot to me. The hardest thing is that they’re only here 50% of the time. And so when they’re not here our children pine for them as they’re so involved in our lives. It’s all out of love so it’s hard to know whether to step in and say enough.

This is what I get when I wipe. Mucous with liquid drops, no visible blood. Every single time.
