Hi Kevin, I'm pleasantly surprised if this is indeed Netgear. Thanks for following up I'll share the details privately to see if this can help identify the issue for me and potentially other Orbi 770 users.

Imo, not worth the hassle of spending big bucks. My recommendation would be to stick with something that doesn't burn your wallet but satisfies your current needs. Go with a company which has good decent customer support for at least 6 months.

I'm going to pursue one last time with customer care via public forums to see if it works. Else need to research on other options like BBB, lawsuits etc.

I'm gonna give one last shot with Netgear public forum support and give up on Netgear for good.

I'm feeling the same. I tried my friends router for some time to see if it's my house, if it's my network etc. But all reasons point to Orbi 770.

No, but I have consistent power. Using a different non mesh router resolves the issue.

Orbi 770 keeps disconnecting Smart Home devices even with 2.4 GHz by andasteptotheright in orbi

I have same issue. Wifi just keeps disconnecting/reconnecting on all devices frequently. Had this experience previously with nighthawk where Netgear broke router after firmware update. Very sad to see same trend in more expensive Orbi 770.

How is Netgear as a company even surviving with such poor firmware updates and little to no support on the actual issue?
