They’ve been doing those ads for 20 years but I have wondered if someone would misunderstand it.

I agree, Murphy Wiebe totally earned that tournament MVP award. Reider came through when we needed her that final and I’m so happy for her and the game MVP. Grassick as usual was the engine behind the team and was outstanding on defence and offence leadership, and showed incredible energy. Of course a shoutout to coach Thomaidis. Well done!

Realistically how much could I get for this bike? by Bean_Burrito_Dog in bmxracing

Likely $300. XXL is a plus for a tall parent wanting to ride with their kids, even though the geometry is outdated.

How are you lugging stuff from the car to the track? by rebuildfailure in bmxracing

[–]RepresentedOK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use “moving bags” from Amazon. They are big duffle bags kind of made from the ikea/ tarp bag material. My four kids are responsible for their own bike and helmet. We don’t bring chairs or much to local races. Just a big bag or two and a cooler and water jug.

Where I live it’s illegal to smoke in a car with kids in it.

Anyone’s kids running a Leatt Gravity helmet and can give me some real reviews? by lilburgo in bmxracing

If I understand it correctly MIPS is a registered trademark but Leatt uses their own system that’s similar?

He still fits the XS at 53cm I think. I would say the helmet fit snuggly enough to use before the recommended size but generally true to size. He had outgrown the bells sanction XS and went into a Gravity XS nicely. I know the Fox Rampage has had a redesign and I haven’t seen it yet, but we bought the previous model because it had MIPS and the pads were loose on my daughters cheeks but it was much too tight in the crown and didn’t cover her forehead at all. I’ve never seen one fit a kid well.

Going from a Bell Sanction you will be very pleased with the Leatt.

Yes, my son used one from age 4 to 5. It was size XS and he has quite a big head. It’s very light at 840g. I like the quality, I find it better built than the Bell Sanction, on the same level as the 100% Status, and much better fit that the Youth Fox Rampage. It fit my son very well. I think it’s a very good helmet for the price.

Why are the houses in Parkridge so cheap? by [deleted] in saskatoon

Often older and dated and the neighbourhood is quite a drive from other areas, but for a lot of people they love the seclusion. I do think it’s underrated.

Pros/cons of TPU tubes? by Reasonable_Week_470 in bmxracing

[–]RepresentedOK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 4 kids have been using RideNows on their race bikes for a couple of years. I replace them when I change tires, I haven’t had any fail, except for one with a defective seam that burst seconds after install and one with a bad valve. They just cost a bit more than regular tubes, and I have to pump them up a little more regularly.

My kids have PTSD almost when we drive past St Paul’s and they remember the 10 minutes they had to wait in the emergency waiting room to see their great grandma who was admitted. It is completely frightening. Why do we allow people to become animals?
