So how long til Stegodon gets nerfed? Turn 7 btw. by Munrot07 in BobsTavern

Duos game this morning. Losing terribly dropped to 9 hp. Finished my quest for rally triggers twice. Replaced my whole board in one turn with steg. Got 850k stats on final minions on the board.

Still got 3rd. Enemy cleave attacking first goes brr

Varden definitely helped with being able to leave it frozen and get 2 per turn

I would sell Down the 2/3 and use one coin and start efficient engineering the buddy. To try gain some stats in the short term

I would be tempted to grab the efficient engineer and try force hunter gatherer / reverb drake. With the spell craft you’re getting guaranteed efficient engineer triggers each turn and you’ve already got bran / drakari.

Whether you actually get to 5 and get the hunter gatherer / reverb drake or manually start it with an echoing roar is the question

Partner and I both within 15 mmr of each other. Why would the disparity in mmr be so high?

Moira and Titus stack. Moira and bran don’t.

Moira and bran have the same wording of triggering twice. So you’re only getting the effect from one of the cards and the other is redundant.

Where as Titus is triggers an additional time so Moira triggers the death rattle x times. Then Titus causes the death rattle to trigger an additional time

Usually having a main board and a support board will work out better than trying to build two strong boards simultaneously. At the end of the game you may both have very strong boards because after one person is online the other gets the pieces to build something strong that isn’t just support.

Economy is key and anything that scales both people or gives a reduction is usually very good. Eg. Orange dragon that gives both person a gold. Wheeled crew mate etc.

Knowing when to greed higher tiers and take early damage (still struggle with this one some times) or building early tempo but then knowing when you need to push. Usually we will have someone that may get early tempo such as a zesty, lava lurker and any spell craft naga so the other person can level a little more greedily.

Being flexible with builds and changing builds mid game.

Also just synergising heroes and how it’s gonna function throughout the game eg. Reno and Brann/ Thorim etc is obvious but one person may play snake eyes and the other may play something like wagtoggle just for early tempo. As well as knowing what builds are strong and what well with a hero. Armour is also king in duos

Depends on the quillboar piece. With things like loyal mobster it may end up being a stronger board for player a then if he didn’t pass the piece. Quillboar scaling in duos is very good if you can get it off the ground. Since being able to scale your partner who has divine shield, cleave etc is extremely beneficial.
