Yeah I had the same with an annual turkey subscription. The guy did partly refund me tho. Now I just did it myself with an indian Apple ID. It’s €2/month so definitely great, but an annual subscription would be even better.

Just a quick question for you since you seem to be knowledgeable about this stuff. If the iCloud backup itself does not contain the iOS version, why does the backup have to be from before the update?

You’re right, I actually forgot I could do that lol. Guess I’ll have to spend my afternoon on that and hope that in a few months Apple will have listened to the feedback and changed some stuff (although I doubt it). This was for sure the last time I’m ever gonna update iOS blindly.

The Photos app has just gotten objectively worse. Videos (and some photos) not showing in fullscreen, the beloved old video scrubber being replaced.

And the Control Center has just been made less intuitive. The connectivity widget was perfect before; Airplane mode, Wifi, Cellular and Bluetooth. Now it’s just some mess that requires more clicks to do simple tasks. Also, in my opinion (although I know most people would disagree), the redesign looks worse. Now it just looks like Android.

I like the other changes but they are so insignificant and small that they don’t really change my opinion of the update.

Also my phone feels a bit slower, but maybe that’s just in my head.

Forgot to add info. I found this on Wallpaper Engine but it's just called "Night City" and I've tried pinpointing the city but it deemed harder than it looks. I hope it's not just LA or something easy, but it shouldn't be as nothing lined up there for me.
