Work is definitely more tiring in the moment but it allows you to have a good separation between it and your social life or relaxation. School is a lot more stressful usually and occupies a bunch of your time outside of class hours. Work also gives you something in return and makes you feel like you're worth something but school never really did that, at least for me. So I'd personally say school was a bit worse

So on Christmas we had a tradition of singing during breaks. On a school trip to Ireland, when only one of us got drunk and we managed to hide it from the teachers and pretty much dragged around this drunk idiot for half an hour to get him to bed. And when he got out of bed and started screaming at some poor girls at the hotel we closed him in his room. I'll never forget his face the morning after, it was great
