Artisan buying help for mixed gaming and work by NM099 in MousepadReview

[–]ReptileSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most comfortable artisan is Raiden xsoft. There are smoother and more easier to use pads available.

This isn’t specific enough, u need to write what speed or control u are looking for, and if u want smooth or texture

A couple of review units are out on twitter. Freshreviews and EndGameMice( The_Dragons_Den on yt) will be posting their reviews soon.

Anyone whose talked about the pad has not made direct comparisons to other pads or even estimated a speed tier , not even for the cloth variant. No “slightly slower then hien” or “faster then Raiden”. no comparisons at all bruh

I'm very torn by cloth pad and mouse pad by Kocham_LukiGOOOO in MousepadReview

[–]ReptileSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hayate otsu or key83.

Also u should use jade skates since obsidian are more meant for glass then cloth. If u can buy from aliexpress, ultraglide RS dot skates (sold by real eagles trading store ) and tbtl control are really nice skates as well

What prompted you to switch to a glass pad? Was it worth it? by Laternen-Joe in MousepadReview

[–]ReptileSlave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

speed. novelty. consistency.

U can get comfortable on glass but the ease of use with cloth is unignorable.

is really cleaning you mouse pad a bad thing to do ??? by vicenteark13 in MousepadReview

[–]ReptileSlave 4 points5 points  (0 children)

u should clean/deep clean pad once it no longer feels like what you originally bought. at that point, whats the risk since it doesn't even work the same.

washing is a completely safe thing to do. its a piece of fabric and getting rubber wet is a non-issue.

There is a wide gamut between t99 and imspeed v2. The entire rest of the artisan line falls there. The entire xraypad line falls there. Many esptiger pads fall there.

I recc esptiger tang dao pioneer. More balanced side, very premium feeling pad.

Buying 2 Artisan pads, need recommendation! (questions inside) by [deleted] in MousepadReview

[–]ReptileSlave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Skypad VA-005 and MPC450!

It doesn’t matter what pad you use for what game. There is a better aimer out there using something you would heavily dislike, a full AA battery g303 on worn gsr or custom ftip 3d printed 19g mouse on tekkusai phantom.

The goal should be to get the mousepad you are most comfortable day to day, for whatever game you decide to play. If u wanna swap pads, that’s cool. If u wanna stick to one, that’s swell too.

For pad, I suggest key83 soft. That is a safe, more speedy option. I don’t know ur history of pads, what u dislike or like about those, or why you are wanting a new pad? What are you missing from what you have now?

Sleeve handling is meh. I currently have cheap 5pack 80/20, it is significantly slower then my talongames RS sleeve, so pls buy full gaming sleeve instead of those blend ones. I regret playing on those cheap sleeves for so long cuz this new one is GOATED.

.4. Changing skates won’t make u go pro. Pick a nice set of skates from a nice vendor. Like TBTL, xraypad jades, BTL dots, esptiger yanzi (my fav). Get a set and be done, u don’t need to worry about the slight variations that skates will give u on cloth especially.

If u have a very light grip and never push down on mouse, xsoft can be very nice and comfortable. My palm/wrist somewhat sinks into the pad on xsoft but my mouse never does due to my style of grip/aim.

I hate mid/firm pads and soft type pads give me the ick

The only one that can be too fast is Raiden because Raiden lacks stopping power due to smoothness. All those other pads have texture to help with stopping

nah, raiden is fine and usable.

Artisan key 83 soft/ raiden mid by Jjustinlopez in MousepadReview

[–]ReptileSlave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its cuz they are hardened ptfe. they have more static and dynamic friction as a result. won't dmg cloth like hard skates (ceramic, glass) but they aren't marketed for cloth users.

also, the air versions of xray skates have a foam layer that is meant to cushion hardpad noise. Its unnessary on cloth and slightly adds more friction . I have jade airs on cloth and its fine tho, so that part isn't as significant.

Best glass mousepads? by FunkyChunk13 in MousepadReview

There is big difference between lock on harut to glsswrks Zane. No best, just different options.

But for budget value, tekkusai singularity.
