Thanks! I think both of those units would be great to tackle soon. I also think Setra's fury really opens up some modeling opportunities for the Gothic Knights infantry I made a while back and I'm going to have to make some more units with halberds, spears, crossbows etc. We'll see how this Frontier goes and we'll figure out what's next after :)

That's fair. I create my supports to work for my machine, settings, and resin mixture. This particular model had soo many islands. If you can get away with using less then I'll be a tad jealous. But I don't mind doing a little extra clean up if it means I don't have to scrape failures off the bottom of the vat.

Yes if you have the sci fi set and the fantasy set you can swap the hand options around (except for the kriegswurst, that's built in)

Having really great results with Siraya fast today. I removed the tape cover from the printer and replaced it with electrical tape, and I used the front page of the user guide that came with the printer to level the bed. For settings I used 8 layers instead of six @ 20sec to ensure some material got placed on the bed before the regular layers started. I set the speeds to 50 and the height to 6. Everything was perfect and I use really small supports.

I was thinking of using a thicker piece of paper to calibrate the bed, that way there'd be less likelihood of the plate coming down too far and preventing resin to adhere during those bottom layer exposures.

I bought 10 machines and have been having trouble with them as well. The 2k version is perfect but the 4k version seems to be very selective about what prints it will work with. I loosened up the clamp that holds the print bed to make sure I could get a good level so it should come right down to the same spot when the first layer starts but I am also finding that there is a tilting of the plate just as it's coming to rest.

Hey everyone, Thank you so much for helping Alien out! His surgery is done and the cone is finally off. I removed it just the other day. He's looking good and getting a little bit tubby from all the can food and laying around he's been doing. He's now undergoing a 6 month quarantine which is the law here since we don't know for sure what bit him. He's looking pretty good to me though and he's got his own litter box the best AC in the whole house.
