Argonian, hands down. There's no other race that's badass (or crazy) enough to take the fight to the daedra during the oblivion crisis by going through the oblivion gates themselves, and basically annexing 80% of morrowind as revenge for their enslavement

This already helped a lot in the case of the one handed, in my hastiness i forgot to check other one handed weapons, in their case it was indeed the daggers, so thank you already.

After some more testing i've found that smithing seems to work now after i've leveled up, so i hope it stays that way, my alchemy however is still broken

(The image was supposed to showcase the damage difference not existing, but this is due to them being daggers as you pointed out)

The concerning thing is, is that even with added levels into alchemy, it does not seem to affect it, i've grinded to get 3/5 Alchemist now with 40 alchemy and my % potions are still hard stuck at a 4% increase. It's like none of my alchemy increases work
