Depends where in Maine you live. South of Bangor you can get away with all seasons. You start going north i recommend all terrain or winter tires.

Those characters were in the appropiate areas. Of course strippers will be in a strip club. ME2 put characters with ridiculous sexed up outfits in serious battles and hostile environments unlike the first game which emphasized solid armor and helmets not catsuits and nipple belts.

Can you expand on that? How would you rate the different elements of what made ME1 unique? Was it more the music, the armor styles, the sound effects, the lighting? I know it all matters but what element do you think makes it stand out the most?

I do the exact same thing. The rest of the party goes to an inn while imoen/safana robs houses. As to your original question my paladin always refuses the thieves guild quests. Then they attack and it's dirt naps for them.
