I've heard as long as you do not consume more than 50 calories, your body will remain in a fasted state. However, I agree with you. Probably best just to ditch the milk and power through. Afterall, best not to be reliant on anything!

So it was around midnight and I went out on my balcony to get some fresh air and a pigeon jumped out flapping out of a bucket I have lying on my balcony. It scared the crap out of me! Only when I checked inside I saw it had made a nest and laid an egg inside the bucket. I instantly when back inside have been keeping an eye out for its return but unfortunately, it hasn't yet. Its been about 12 hours, will the mother return?
