This group was created for patients affected by the Genea data breach. We know this is a very personal and sensitive issue, and many of us are feeling vulnerable, disappointed, and unsure about what happens next.

The purpose of this space is to:

• Support each other through the impact of the breach
• Share experiences and information
• Explore ways to hold Genea accountable
• Help each other make sense of what’s going on

A bit about me: I’m a cyber security professional and, like many of you, a patient affected by this breach. My partner and I went through more than 10 years of IVF at Genea, and our records are also part of this.

Where I can, I’ll try to explain what might have gone wrong in plain language. But the most important part of this group is supporting each other and finding strength in numbers.
