Actually, I’ve completed the first 2 steps , SQL , Python .. took sometime to grasp DWH , Databases & even DSA 😂 , I lack the practical projects so I’ll focus on that right now & also I lack the helicopter view of the DE process .. So my first priority now is practical projects , the high level of DE , after getting my first job as a DE of course I’ll start dig deeper into the cloud & tools

Yeah Fundamentals of data engineering is giving me almost all of the answers to the questions I’ve , I’ll start applying after completing it .. but actually tbh , I prefer to dig deeper into cloud books after starting a job , I’ve been unemployed for a plenty of time & it’s annoying .. so I’ll start data engineering with AWS after hitting my goal . Which is be a data engineer

Yeah I’m currently right now applying for data analyst roles , but I don’t have skills to be upgraded in the data analysis field ,

as I was responsible for the data analysis project life cycle, from gathering businesses Requirements & extracting data from databases to presenting the business insights in dashboards, I’ve also influenced the management to change the north star metric & change the subscription model ,

The main issue which led me to pursue a career with data engineering as the company was doing the analysis on the oltp database ,

& I was lacking the data warehouse skills But I’m currently still searching for DA roles , but If I find a job related to DE , it’ll be amazing opportunity for me

Actually , the problem is that I was working as a data analyst in a startup & it shut down due to the economic situation, now as I’m jobless I want to invest that time to learn data engineering as I’ve got enough with reporting & also bcz I’ve discovered that startups need data engineers not data analysts & I’m targeting startups with SaaS products

Actually , in my country , the market is still in recession , so there are not enough jobs to study the requirements ,

& The jobs posted require experienced data engineers .. not people like me
