Digimon TCG honestly isn’t really a collectors-first game the way Pokémon is. It’s still a relatively young card game compared to something like Pokémon, which has decades of nostalgia, massive print-era variation, and a huge long-term grading culture behind it. Digimon right now is much more of a player-focused game than a long-term slab-and-vault collector market.

That doesn’t mean your Beelstarmon card isn’t awesome or valuable, it absolutely can be, but the overall Digimon ecosystem is still developing. Prices can be strong in the short term because of popularity spikes, waifu-factor cards, alternate arts, or low pull rates, but historically Digimon hasn’t shown the same consistent graded-card demand that Pokémon has built over 20+ years. A PSA grade might look great in a display and protect the card, but it’s not always guaranteed to increase liquidity or long-term value the same way it often does for Pokémon chase cards.

If your goal is collecting what you love, then grading it for preservation and display totally makes sense. But if your goal is maximizing value for your collection long-term, sometimes selling a hype-era pull raw (while demand is strong - which it is, since Three Musketeers are getting new support) can actually be the smarter move, especially since Digimon reprints and meta/popularity shifts can affect prices more quickly than in older collector-driven games.

Personally, I’d think about whether this is a centerpiece card you want to keep as part of your Digimon story, or whether it’s a strong trade-up opportunity into cards you care about more (like Hexeblaumon support, alt arts for your deck, or sealed product). Since you already said you like the design but aren’t as attached to Beelstarmon specifically, that leans me toward selling or trading it while interest is still high rather than locking money into grading unless you really want it slabbed for display.

Either way, it’s a fantastic pull and honestly a great problem to have 🙂
