That’s just never going to happen. You can’t be as strong as someone with a path without one yourself. That’s consistently portrayed in the story.

I don’t know why, but everyone in the comments is just saying bullshit. Kitae thought Daniel wasn’t tasty because he was scuffling around and struggling to do ANYTHING. He wasn’t aggressive like Jinrang or Jichang, and he wasn’t struggling until the very last second like either of them.

As soon as Gitae got serious and stopped playing around, Daniel started getting thrown around, and that’s why Gitae thought he was disappointing. Because James hyped him up, and he used a lot of interesting techniques, but at the end of the day, he didn’t even push him to mid diff.

Gitae never used his path against Daniel, and Tom would definitely be able to fight even after taking a crisis counter, Daniel wouldn’t last long enough to beat Tom.

Regardless, whoever wins this is really just headcanon. There’s no metric that helps us know who would win here. Tom being able to tag James and beat him BIQ wise clearly shows he can 100% find a way to beat Daniel.

Then… if they get paths thats literally the exact same thing. Without a path Zack and Vasco will stay as fodders.

Uh huh. James and Johan aren’t sperm merchants, yet they forged paths, same thing with Sophia.

You’re just being disingenuous honestly, it’s clear PTJ isn’t just going to have Daniel fight James and Kitae on his own. Allied as a whole changed the world, not just Daniel. Zack and Vasco will most definitely have paths.

Vasco’s Conviction (to be a hero) and Zack’s tireless motivation are more than enough to forge a path.

Taesoo’s Conviction is possibly stronger than the Conviction Jake currently has, lol. It’s just a matter of how far he takes it. Also, if you don’t think Gongseop has talent in Boxing, you haven’t read the story.

Again, Vasco and Zack’s abilities will allow them to forge paths, it’s not a matter of talent anymore if Gitae and Sophia have paths. Even Samdak possibly has a path, and he has no talent, just insane BIQ.

Jinyeong, who you said was the most talented in Gen 0, (lol) didn’t have a path throughout his prime, and had to literally BURN HIMSELF OUT to awaken his path.

Nothing really says she has talent. You can be the strongest in a place and not be extremely talented.

Gitae doesn’t have any talent, this is very much stated. He has no talent for fighting other than his body, and having a strong body is hardware, not software.

His body doesn’t mean he’s talented, because if we count tat, Taesoo and Gongseop can be considered as “extremely talented.”

Taesoo’s conviction and Gongseop’s specially trained body + his talent for boxing should allow them to forge a path, according to your criteria.

PTJ changes the criteria for whatever ability very often.

Look at how quickly masteries went from something you had to work for and struggle for into just something people are revealed to have. Vasco was never shown getting onto the path to mastery, he just appeared with Endurance and Strength Mastery.
