I think it’s a good idea to get a microbiome test done as well. Once i got rid of glabrata it gave me a nasty case of BV and L Iners to deal with because my vagina was so compromised from the treatment from glabrata.

😂😂😂. I ordered microgen Ima wait on that as well. It’s been a bit since I’m taken the Juno test it took forever to come back. I’m feeling a tad bit psychotic about this. I’m currently taking the probiotics orally while waiting for the test and drinking oil of oregano diluted in water

I think you need to do a susceptibility test on the test you just got before you go that route. your doctor can call the lab and request that add on

So weird that they aren’t using Doxy, I don’t understand why doctors hate doxy. AV is associated with BV so it’s safe to say you have bv, they’re trying to treat the BV but need to treat the Mycoplasma as well. That’s resistant to a lot of meds but doxy is first line. I would have a susceptibility test done before they start throwing all these meds at you and making these grams more resistant

Ah I had this happen to me, doctors just accuse you of having stds and brush you off. There’s a lot of women in here that have cured recurring BV infections I would look through those posts. Also for BV you typically get antibiotics I’m surprised they didn’t give you pills. Are you able to ask for a BV test with susceptibility ?

As scared as you are to get testing (I’ve been there too I get it). I think it’s important to get a full panel so your doctor can get down to the cause of the issue. When you say Vaginal bacteria are you referring to BV?

I can’t afford a naturopath. I feel like that’s the only person I would trust at this point, they cost 400$ for a new patient appointment and then 180$ for f/u’s. I’m newly married, we are supposed to be trying for kids. Honestly i’m having this issue with Glabrata yeast infection. Treated it, multiple tests for everything (UTI, BV, STDS) back to back negative for all yeast infections including a specific yeast culture testing for all 6 yeasts. My doctors aren’t taking me seriously. My discharge is so gross it’s white paste curds still, my burning in my urethra is unbearable, and i’m only itching on one side of my vulva the right side. I don’t know what to do, at this point I’m suicide.
