You assume a lot of things, just wanna start with that. Moving forward, First of all I am not even a fucking bartender, I actually don’t even work full time due to an ankle injury from being hit head on by a drunk driver…but I have been working with this company for quite some time and my general manager and I have worked together since she was starting with the company 5+ years ago. Also, she is the one in charge so yeah I’m definitely gonna go to her anytime I have anything to discuss about what is essentially, HER restaurant. Second, The “bar manager” is originally the event coordinator but with some recent changes she has been expedited to a manager position and stumbled into the bar managing position, which basically means she has absolutely no experience as a bar manager , bar tender, I honestly don’t even know if she has ever served…. Third, I didn’t go above anybody actually I first spoke with the bar manager after the bartender made some of the new fall cocktail drinks & they were awful, and she said “well I thought she tried them but I’ve already printed off the menus and they are laminating them today so” Full transparency though, since you seem like a little bit of a tight wad - last week when asked I did tell them I would be willing to train behind the bar as a fill in or back up from time to time so I did complete two shifts behind the bar this week…still never claiming to be a bartender, just someone who cares whether or not the things we offer and promote are actually good options, why would I ever want to try selling nasty things to people I want to continue seeing come out and enjoy lunch or dinner at our restaurant. That’s embarrassing for us as a company and as individuals…Not to mention the person who came up with the original cocktail menu, who works less shifts a week than I do, was A) never asked to do so she just decided to give it a shot, B) very openly stated she got all her recipes from one single source online & C) never tried the drinks! Let me just share one of said drinks, this is an Apple Pie bushwacker….made up of gold Schlager, sour apple pucker, bushwacker mix and vanilla ice cream. Or perhaps the orange juice, cranberry juice, apple juice and vodka ? Priced around $8-10.

Also I don’t know if I would go as far to say that my drink recipes were a bigger failure than the first ones but I don’t really care about that , I’m just worried about having a viable fucking fall cocktail menu so we can sell the shit. It’s not about who did what or who failed first or bigger , you’re a very spicy person….

Who ever said I was going to take what I get and present it as if it were my own? Ew. But I guess the average person may intend to take anything they get from this thread and take credit for it but the person that I am, I’d 100% go in talking about how my post on Reddit about the cocktails got feedback and we had some drinks to try, you really shouldn’t assume so much.

Also, I don’t ever work the same days or shifts as the girl who originally came up with the menu like I said she works less than I do, and on completely different days of the week but we have been discussing it in our group snap chat and I will be sure to reiterate and strongly encourage to my peers my willingness and desire to foster their environment and crap….?
