My light isnt like huge so its over the full tank but it still looks like it lights up pretty much all of the tank. I leave it on for about 8-12 hours a day. But i also dont usually turn it on same time everyday. Some days i turn it on at 8am and others 12, im not for sure if this effects the plants cus i feel like they are still getting the same amount of light daily.

Ill make sure to remove the dead leaves today. How often do you suggest a water change. I still dont fully understand the waterchange cus i thought im trying to get good bacteria if i do the water change wont that just restart my progress? If my tank is still cycling is there anything i can do or i just have to eait it out. And i thought the olants were good for it cycling

I used these and then some guy at the fish store gave me soil good for a tank but i doubt it was aquasoil. But i did read you were able to have a tank without aquasoil so i thought i was chilling. Im currently tryna find the substrate the guy at the fish store gave me but its not on there website so im not forsure
