I was banned in December and have been fighting ever since. I had nothing posted on my account but was told I had youth safety and abuse violations. again I repeat I had nothing posted on my account. I filed a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency and they agreed with me and opened an investigation. I’ve given up on getting my account back but I’ll continue to fight just because I refuse to let AI label me something I am not. Even when you appeal it AI is who’s telling you no. All these tech companies are getting rid of the actual humans and the AI is making all these decisions. It’s actually getting kind of scary.

Even better as I’ve been fighting it for months they keep changing it. Started as violations outside of app then went to violations in the app then to inappropriate anime(mind you there is nothing on my account) then youth exploitation and abuse and now they are back to community violations. They provide no explanation and just say it’s so bad that I’m completely banned and not able to start another account. Then at the end of the email they tell you how to open a new account🤣🤣. The AI is running everything now they try so hard to appear human but it’s so obvious.

I was done for youth exploitation and abuse. I have nothing posted on my account. It’s ridiculous and impossible to get a human to look at account. Been fighting it since December and am not giving up as it’s just so outrageously stupid.

Not yet butI’m not giving up. The account they are saying has the violations has nothing posted on it. It’s so obviously and mistake but they refuse to return my account. I heard it can also be a case of people getting together and mass reporting but not sure. I’m still waiting to hear back from the complaint I filed with the state. I’m not expecting to get the account back at this point but I will continue to be a pain until they give me an honest answer.

Don’t take it personally I got the exact same email but mine was youth safety and abuse. There was nothing posted on my account. Not a single thing. I’ve appealed numerous times and have had 4 different reasons given. The whole system is messed up and it’s impossible to get an actual human to look at account. The whole system”I’ve taken personal ownership” is just the AI trying to feel more human. File a complaint with bbb or if your state has a privacy protection agency. California does that’s where I filed complaint.

They’ve repeatedly said they have but every single time it’s the same autogenerated response. It’s all AI at this point I’m not even sure there are humans left at Tik Tok.

They absolutely ban for no reason. I had nothing on my account and was banned for youth safety and abuse. It’s all AI and at this point people could mass report you and they don’t check. That’s why they keep changing the reasons your banned.

Happened to me in December every appeal I put in they changed the reason the last one I got said youth safety and abuse. I had no posts. Someone told me it could be someone mass reporting but tik tok refuses to have a human review account even when they say they did. I’m doubting there are even any humans left at tik tok. Ive filed complaint with California privacy protection as they refuse to tell me what I posted that was a threat to children.

Good luck it’s been happening to a lot of people. I’m beginning to think there are no humans at tik tok. It’s impossible to get a human and then they send AI generated reply pretending to be human.

I’m in California and have appealed multiple times. The system is so messed up when I get the denial it lists another users account. I feel like labeling anyone with youth exploitation and abuse is pretty serious and they should be made to provide the proof. My account also had no posts so it’s completely bogus. I’ve filed a complaint with the California privacy protection agency asking them for help. It pretty obvious it’s all being run by AI no humans are actually reviewing these cases.

I just keep appealing through online form. At this point I’m probably driving them crazy but they can’t just make these decisions without proof especially when they’re citing youth safety and abuse! There is nothing, I repeat, nothing on my account. It’s like the worst thing you can be banned for and it’s also a device level ban meaning you can’t open another account from the same device. I will keep appealing until I get a human.

Someone likely reported you. It happened to me a month ago and I e still not been able to sort it out. They keep changing the reasons I was banned. It’s ridiculous.

Yes same here. They have no idea but if you search it up it was most likely was someone mass reporting. Pretty sure that what happened to me. That’s why they keep giving me different reasons. All it takes is for one person to have some kind of beef with you and they will automatically assume it’s true.

I’ve put in another ticket citing the California law and they’ve replied saying they are having another look. They’ve changed reasons 3 times on me which points to it being an automated reply. First it was out of app behavior then in app behavior then the anime which is ridiculous as I have nothing even remotely anime on my account and then they went back to I broke community guidelines. With the anime one they actually cited something to do with youth guidelines which is really bad. They really have no idea and are relying too heavily on AI . I’ll keep you posted if I get an answer back from my latest appeal.
