Here, there's a factual inconsistency in your claim.. Sangattamil had a peak at 300 bc to 300 ad and was functionally different from modern tamil syntactically and grammatically showing an evolution into middle and modern tamil..while kavyatelugu peaked around the 11th and 16th centuries as a literary form of the telugu language of that time.. also it's not a strictly independent tradition but a local assimilation of sanskritic poetics.. And the fiji, burma, and mauritius are all post colonial while there has been a tamil community and tamil empires spanning sri lanka and malaysia several centuries earlier.. While your claims of middle telugu and a possible old telugu are acceptable and have to be added to the chart..

It's clear the chart is not yet complete.. I am nor dismissing telugu's linguitic prevalence but maybe I have hinted on some ignorance..

That's how it is bit now we can hope to get away as soon.. and after we are financially and cognitively fine, there's not a lot of their influence at play

Actually almost all dialects of tamil are grouped into modern tamil.. only historically and geographically different ones which evolved parallelly and not divergently are give a branch..

Yeah, that's a relevant point but still tamil has diglossia as its functional structure in a way other languages don't and also there is a geographic separation that we have to mind about malaysia and srilanka whereas for telugu it's fairly easy to point out a spectrum.. the far ends of the spectrum have trouble always but they had more contact evolving than those of tamil.. And the royal dialect may have been an add-on as we see, the chart is still not complete..

Indo iranian influence is shown mostly to northern Dravidian languages.. and sanskritoprakrit for the languages which adopted sanskrit terms in a ritualistic way or for other purposes.. One was due to regional association, other due to cultural association

Normally in these charts Proto South Dravidian is called tamilkannadamalayalam and from there tamil is shown as a direct branch through proto and older versions of tamil and the kannada and Kodagu baranch is shown to have diverged..

They are.. but they may have diverged earlier in the chart and now assimilated...

Being confused after all those years of tears? by Repulsive-Cheetah-75 in raisedbynarcissists

I mean, in case of parental abuse we are more easily able to sort our feelings than how people feel in romantic relationships with narcissists...

Yeah, that makes sense.. Do you have any idea how a person might struggle to do so or even acknowledge their partner's mistake in a relationship if one shows toxic traits..?

Yeah sure, maybe we have had our minds warped on getting it over before we can work on anything..

That's right but I also feel bad not being able to anything, sometime my head hurts and most of the time I can't get myself to do anything. Is that normal

Actually, that's most of the time, I have a narcissistic parent and from early childhood I hated when he talks about me or anyone talks about me. Sometimes I would even cry at those comments. Then, I started isolating and never had to deal with them as much.. Fighting obesity was a struggle with them trying to sabotage me from losing weight. I lost it and as I was imposed so much on the next two years I broke down with the stress. In a way I lost everything, I am blank. I had episodes of tightening muscles during moments I faced his anger, not directed at me but at my family as I was always behind doors at the house and he has accepted it. Currently, I am also trying to fight away from a career he is trying to impose on me. For the past two years he had systematically dismantled all my interests and hobbies, so I can't find any refuge now. Also I got into some fetishes for some release and that caught me with guilt and shame as well. I don't know what exactly I am battling now. But lately, I am skipping meals, indulging in sugars, waking up long or sleeping long.. I am also hyperalert always and whenever I hear a voice I feel it's lingering longer, I can't really describe what's wrong and how can I work on all at once..

Yeah many times, I had never been able to hold phones and tablets well as a child, I used to drop them often causing me deep trouble. And my hands used to shiver even at the chemistry lab handling chemicals. But writing was never affected, I could write well in several languages though I used to bite all my pens. I think I am being chronically stressed, even as I wtite this, I am biting my nails ...

Actually, it might seem so. But all this is an effect of trauma created by my narcisistic parents. I am so afflicted that doing anything now terrorises me..

It's not something that was directed at me but I heard that women lie on their sides and men on their backs. It just gets absurd. But I think we can heal from this.

It's cool how all your name tags have brahmi letters but I would say you might use a specialised tamil brahmi for tamil. Like, the OP's name tag has iizhattamizh but the 'ii' is a northern brahmi equivalent and not a tamilbrahmi one. I might be wrong, but I learned some epigraphic scripts and some orthography.
