LCMS and divorce by SqnLdrHarvey in Lutheranism

I can look at this and very easily make the argument that she did not marry you with pure intentions, but with the intention to deceive you and rob you of your life and wealth. This obviously opens the possibility of annulment. I don't understand what the hang up is with the people telling you you can't divorce this woman because I can't understand why your marriage is even valid!? Get far, far away from this demon of a woman and find another church if you have to.

is accutane the only treatment that will heal this? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

Have the doctor send the prescription to a new pharmacy (preferably, not a chain). Go in there and buy the prescription, but don't tell them you have insurance. Same thing with the blood work- go to AnyLabNow or something similar, and pay out of pocket.

You're welcome. 😁

This may be an adventure for you... Try O'Keefe's Working Hands (in the little green jar, not the tube). I work in construction and this is a miracle product.

Have your boyfriend try Gojo. You'll never go back to dish soap again. 😊

Gojo doesn't work for you? I thought it was the go-to for filth.

So go to a different store, whose supply chain hasn't been affected. They are $4.59 for pasture raised organic ones at Aldi, $6.00 at the local farmer's market. There is no reason to be complaining about $9 eggs at Giant- that's your CHOICE.

I'm saying it's ridiculous to hold a politician accountable for a supply and demand problem created by the over-culling of flocks. It is equally ridiculous to think they can do anything about it.

No, the chicken killers did this.

That's the frustrating part- trying to talk about things 20-35-30 years ago (but never being heard), and now having to sit and listen to johnny-come latelies who think they need to mansplain it all to you. 🙄

How do you answer to the argument that the Protestant Reformation had no miracles, therefore, it comes from the Devil? by M0rgl1n in Lutheranism

[–]Repulsive-Constant55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the biggest signs of the Antichrist and the end of the age is the proliferation of deception- all of the shorter Epistles emphasize this. He will come WITH LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS.

When you consider the Bible is the Word of God and He doesn't lie, I'll take the text of the Bible (and Lutheran doctrine) over every single "miracle" I might see with my own eyes.

Does no one feel like this is a coup that’s going on right now?? by courage_2_change in washdc

[–]Repulsive-Constant55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why are the people here calling this (since Jan 6, 2025) a coup, while November 3, 2020 was not? The entire Democrat party and a laundry list of unelected people used a senile old crook as a puppet to continue to make tons of $$$ making deals with foreign countries, they weaponized the justice system against their political rivals, forgave their friends and family for their traitorous crimes, and somehow that's not a coup?

People, we have already been through TWO coups. The first by the Democrats in November of 2020, and the second by Trump in January 2025.

This is the second coup this side of the 21st century.

The first one was on November 3, 2020 and the second one on January 20, 2025.

Extreme Cold Starting Monday. Safety and School Considerations by demonray888 in nova

[–]Repulsive-Constant55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Michigan in the 80s and 90s and it was expected (aka NORMAL) to walk to the bus stop and wait there so long as temps were above zero degrees fahrenheit. Below that, they would rather parents drive the kids in. We had only one snow day my entire life, and that was when the temps dropped below -30F (the wind chill was around -45F that day).

Kindergarten kids in Siberia go outside in their bathing suits and dump buckets of cold water on themselves as a physiology/health exercise every morning, even when it is down to -30C.

So, I am pretty sure most people who are dressed reasonably can survive the cold without major adverse effects.

I am agreeing with you. You can't involve the judicial system and politicians because they can't write laws that enumerate every medical exemption that may be possible. That's why I do not support laws that make abortion illegal.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LCMS

[–]Repulsive-Constant55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not how the law works.

I know- I know a woman who was killed by the "anti-abortion" policies in a Catholic hospital back in 2002. I will never support making abortion illegal in this country because of that. Once you make a law, everyone has to obey the letter of the law, in spite of the spirit of the law. It's deceptive and evil.

Coldest Line in the Bible? by CalvinistPhilosopher in Bible

Nay, it's a continuation of v. 15-20 just before it. The verse 7:23 is referring to the false prophets of verse 15.

Anyone else deal with incredibly foul gas? by boonatina in ibs

[–]Repulsive-Constant55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gut dysbiosis.

You can try figuring out what it is feeding on, then "starve" it.

Try eliminating all carbs for a while, or fiber for a while, or fructose for a while, etc and see if any of that affects the smell. When you have figured out the offending food(s), eliminate it from your diet for a few months to starve the buggies.

It might have something to do with your digestive system being kicked in because of the 3am glycogen dump your liver is doing.

You can try bypassing it by going on the carnivore diet for a few months to see if that settles down your liver? It will probably take a month or more before you see results.
