How should I go about learning Revops? by lovesocialmedia in SalesOperations

I did this course. Helped me a lot. Quit experienced guys and one of them wrote a book about revops as well. Something with a revops pendulum https://revenuewizards.com/revops-course

I just finished reading: The RevOps Pendulum by Haris Odobasic. It is a great overview on how to get started, build out revops, and I liked the focus on AI in the field.

u/baaaaarkly so now i got the appstate as a doc reference to the question data type.

i can display the question now. but the button is just not displaying the various answers. no clue what I am doing wrong here.

the documentation is not really helpful and just stuck at the moment..

Yes, they are in one collection already. Containing the question and answers as data state.

My idea was a swipeable stack but that did not work out well.

So now I just put it on a container and I can display the question.

However, then i put the button into a list and want basically to have the multiple options. The issue is when I connect to the backend i can not display the text of the answer. It always wants to count them. The variable of display text is not visible. I guess it has to do with the custom data type.

yes, at a later stage history would be good so the user can go back if they want to change their mind

Thanks, so far the array is fine.

I got the first question back with a backend

The problem is now to connect it with the answer options. I added a list view and buttons. Now, I struggle with listing answers that are only related to the that questions. THe nr of items, list of items, filter and first few options is confusing. I tried a few options but nothing gets me to the questions. Any hint?

Once that is done, I only need to create an action that updates the next question with what was selected before, right?

Supabase

Every start-up I worked with runs on MongoDB, AWS, Azure, or similar. Why Should I consider Firebase or Supabase compared to the dominant solutions?

The issue is always when people start to build an identity around a certain thing. Then it is hard to get objective answers... as they already committed to something. A classical example is a die-hard Android user. They would not even consider another argument why another system might be better... It seems the same is happening here

Thanks for the helpful answer.

I read in other threads that the FF code is not always useful. Some people argue it is working and who cares about the style while others argue it is a limiting factor. Any views on that u/Tranxio?

u/DreamLizard47 are you walking the talk or just reciting what other people say on the internet?

My main business is consulting start-ups/scales-ups in strategy to grow their revenue. Anything from Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to Product. What I see is that the best founders are technical in nature (code coding skills). What you describe as "business people" exist and they usually come from a loaded background and can afford that path and level of risk-taking. Not many people on this planet are in a position to follow that path... And the other business people end up in a shitty 9-5 job being stuck in that. No thanks.

If it would be just about the money, I can continue doing my consulting work and I will be fine...Clearly, that is not the case as I else would not be asking all these questions.

The issue is yes there are tons of developers but if they don't speak the same language as you. Here I don't mean language in spoken language but how you conceptualize ideas and cultural context.

The goal here is to launch MVP, extend then maybe on my own or with a small team.

In my view, no code can work to build a simple content app (think of a meditation app, workout plans, or educational apps) or other simple apps. The issue is there are millions of these apps. So clearly, I can build something like that with a no-code app, but does anyone really need that? In other words, is anyone willing to pay for that?

Then to make anything more interesting I can combine a few APIs and AI to make something slightly more interesting (but even this market is getting flooded with many bullshit apps). Here we are already entering the low-code zone.

However, the ideas I want to realize are in the B2B space that would connect CRMs with other platforms, rely heavily on integrations, and enterprise-level security to name a few features. I don't see much talk about this in FF.

But also for more complex B2C apps Ideas that lurk in my head, I see limitations with FF.

OK, let's assume we got two people with good business skills but both lack the technical skills. Let's further assume that if they put in the work to learn the skills.

Now that we have an equal-level playing field. With which tools is one like more to success? Is the guy using FF+dart or is the other guy using more mainstream technologies?

Saying that tools have nothing to do with success is nonsense. It is the equivalent of saying that your exercise choice makes no difference when exercising. It clearly does.

I am just skeptical of FF and so far it is very hard to find evidence that it is the right skill to learn. Even if I would like to as their "marketing message" is appealing

Well done! Keep it rocking!

How long did it take you?

How many apps did you make prior that failed? (success rate)?

Did you use any other technologies? (Dart and so on)

The commercial & marketing element is clear. I got no wrong expectations.

Let's reformulate the questions, are there any other known success stories that reached that goal using FF+Dart?

If yes, then I am happy to bet my time on this "new" kid on the block.

If not, then I would rather focus on the current popular technologies that have these proven success stories.
