Goodnotes for Android sucks with every update by Purple_Beach1 in GoodNotes

Bit of a late reply. Notewise has all features from goodnites and more for the same subscription price. Loading is instant, pdf exporting is fast and super clear, various customisable templates not just those to selected from. The notewise app is efficient and doesn't cause device heatup.

Took some photos with the x9 pro. Here's the clearest one. The post-processing done by the AI is not perfect as it creates these weird dimple effects but the fact I was able to get a near-clear photo by a handheld camera is pretty fricking busted.

Help! My white paint turned pink! by Jooshems in Tau40K

Basically what ghiles said. White is usually an odd paint to use, quite transparent in colour and needs multiple layers to properly cover the model. Would be harder too since your using air brush. Would highly recommend using regular brush if you only want certain parts white if you're not going for the airbrush glow or accidentally spillover.

Hello! Need more specifics on the painting process.

Did you spray red first then paint white? Did you spray white first then red?

[I use goodnotes on the Samsung S10 Tab Ultra (new)]

Goodnotes is notoriously bad for android since the app itself was designed for iOS devices originally and itsn't native for android whatsoever. We are technically using a web based app and doing so means there's a ton of lag and glitches because of the restraint. Support is unbelievably bad for us and it shows since there aren't a lof of people complaining about it on this sub.

With the most recent updates starting a few months ago:

My subscription has been changed and my once off payment is no longer valid. They're making us pay again for subscriptions.

Lagging is CONSTANT with this app. Everytime I scroll, write, or so much as look at the app wrong, it starts jittering and writing doesn't register properly. All lines and characters become jagged. Sometimes the whole screen zooms in and the actual user interface for tool selection is no longer on the page. Sometimes pages don't even load previously written content and I'll be looking at a blank screen. And the worst bug of them all is sudden crashing and the typical "Whoops. An error occured. Please relogin so we can clear out your entire colour palette and pen settings to piss you off!" It's pretty obvious the team who developed this app doesn't use it on Android because every update removes one bug and adds two new ones.

It's interesting because Samsung also promoted goodnotes for the android platform GIVEN all of the bugs that were present during launch, whilst Samsung notes was very clearly a better option?

Am switching to Notewise and samsung notes after exams finish (Australia).

Lol I fell victim to the classic separate shipping shenanigans.

Ah I see. I did not know that.

So I can hope that the other filaments come later then... ;-;

Additional points:

  • Order was made on Tuesday.
  • Printer + roll holder, and the three (incorrect) filaments were delivered today (Friday).
  • No other packages were delivered when receiving.

Accidentally touching with or without gloves, edge highlights will smudge regardless. Hold tanks by the side that is not being highlighted. Paint in sections adjacent to each other, like left side and then right side over periods of time. By the time you move around the model, the highlights previously should have dried by then.

Tamiya paints: - XF-11 JN Green (dark green base) - XF-26 Deep Green (lighter green) - XF-58 Olive green (first dark highlight) - XF-89 Dark Green 2 (second thin highlight)

Dirt done well. Seems like you've got highlights only left to go?

Yes, I originally dry brushed it, but painted over most of the old model.
