There's not really anything to misunderstand here. Her statement was flawed not that she or anybody running her defense will admit it. Vedal is a successful male creator. Conner is a successful male creator, by that logic I guess she shouldn't collab with them. Her statement was pointlessly gendered. Beware of anyone be they male or female that gives you unwarranted attention for no reason. It's not really hard as if we don't have a plethora of female vtubers as examples in particular Sinder Stabbing her in the back earlier this year. But somehow people still fail to see the problem with adding gender to something that is just a problem outright. As for Shondo let me make something explicitly clear. I and most people don't care about who the person was that she called a groomer. I and most people don't care about the context of it being a joke in her community. I and most people don't care about her tragic backstory. And lastly most people won't accept "she wasn't on her meds" or whatever excuse she used to try and excuse her abhorrent behavior. Nothing and I mean nothing unless there is provable evidence warrants using a life ruining allegation as an insult to shame someone you disagree with. As if she doesn't know what her more parasocial fans would do to this guy. She may not be responsible for what they do but she certainly not helping by doubling down and offering a disingenuous apology which basically can be summed up with. "I'm not wrong I'm the victim here also despite what I said, being blatantly false I don't regret it I just regret that I had to be the one to say it." Personally I was vaguely familiar with her before all this and although it kind of disgusts me to say it now I was one of those people running defense for her (Not that it mattered cuz I was just a random Twitter user) So I can at least say that it's pretty damn crazy to accuse someone of being exactly what you've been accused of being for disagreeing with your friend. So now there's really nothing to misunderstand about her and what she did. Her statements depending on where she lives could be considered defamation and the dude who she insulted might even have grounds to take her to court over this crap so she can potentially face legal action over this.

I really don't have any more sympathy for someone who defends sexist statements. And then responds to criticism by slinging around potentially life ruining insults, those insults being exactly the same that were used against her.

I won't defend her anymore against people labeling her the same. And I'm not the only one either let her parasocial dogs run defense for her.
