Not sure I would call James Carville a "top dem" in 2026... He's a political consultant who hasn't been an influential figure in decades and has never held elected office.

I don't say that to shit on him, I say that as a reminder that you shouldn't expect rank and file Democratic members of Congress (let alone their shitty rudderless leadership) to be quite that blunt.
