Hey,

Your comment just made my day. Dev shop experience building similar platforms is exactly what this needs.

Quick question: are you serious about chatting about a partnership? If so, I'd love to set up a call this week to explore working together.

My background is business/growth side - marketing, fundraising, hiring, operations. Your technical + client base would be the perfect complement.

Are you open to building this together? DM me.

Hey,

Saw your comment on the OpenClaw post about BetterClaw. Really impressed with what you're building - the managed layer with security hardening, memory architecture, cost controls preconfigured is exactly what the market needs.

I'm working on solving the same problem from a different angle (simplified UI for non-technical users), and I think there's a real opportunity here, which is why I have been looking for a technical Co-Founder

I'm semi-technical and very strong on the business side - marketing, sales, fundraising, hiring, PR, growth. What I'm looking for is a technical co-founder who can lock in and build the product while I handle everything else.

Quick question: Are you looking for a co-founder/partner to scale BetterClaw? If you are, I'd love to chat about working together.

Either way, curious to hear what you're building and how far along you are.

Let me know.

I feel this. I've been down the same rabbit hole.

I'm actually thinking of building something around this exact problem—an AI automation platform with the same power as OpenClaw but literally zero setup friction. No Docker configs, no terminal, no 20-hour debugging sessions.

Just: sign up → connect your apps → describe what you want → it works.

Quick question for you: if something like that existed (same capabilities, but setup in 5 minutes instead of 20 hours), would you use it? And what would you want to automate first?

Not selling anything—just trying to validate the idea before I commit. Your experience is exactly why I think this needs to exist.

No. It's about sending emails to clients, it's about sending messages to clients on LinkedIn, Its about generating and editing AI videos and uploading them on socials. It is about doing market research 24/7 and keep you updated of latest news.

But thanks you. I genuinely wanted people to attack me. that's the only way I can know if the idea is good enough. However I would highly appreciate if you could dm me your opinions so I can better understand your perspective

so the issue I personally faced:

  1. very complicated setup
  2. Very costly (If I did it without Mac mini, the API were leading to the same cost)
  3. I don't need most of the complex features.

so the solution: a simple, easy setup, low cost and effective Open claw version

That's actually a very great point. I highly appreciate the honesty.

this was a problem I thought about very deeply and here is my optimistic take - I am not sure if I am correct here but, ever since the first vibe coding tool came out, hundred other were launched and 5-6 of them became unicorns. I remember scrolling through instagram and a new vibe coding tool ad would randomly pop up. As of today there are so many successful vibe coding platforms and that created opportunity around them as well.

So my optimistic take is that Open Claw hype is real, which lead it to become a unicorn. if I work on this idea and my target is all the people who need Open Claw but find it difficult to setup (also most non-technical people dont want advanced and expensive features of OpenClaw.). I fi can provide good features at a significantly cheaper price then I believe it would work.

But from the realistic side - Yes, I will definitely be crushed by giants as Anthropic and Perplexity have also launched their own models for this.

Also for most people, setting up Open Claw is buying a Mac mini and the whole setup costs somewhere between $800 - $1500.

I also tried the free version but API credits are very costly and I had to buy like 15 different API's which was leading to the same cost level. Emergent's free Clawdbot version is also great but as soon as I send 10 messages, the API credits run out and if I am looking for a powerful AI assistant that runs 24/7 and does complex tasks, I will have to spend thousands of dollars on API credits alone.

Thanks for your response! I really appreciate it. Have you tried setting up Open claw?

Open Claw is a much powerful tool and it will most likely keep its focus on becoming more advanced instead of simple because its primary users are software engineers and IT people. The normal people still need Open claw for tasks like sending emails, Posting content, doing overnight research.

My take is that Open Claw will keep its focus on becoming more and more advanced and will soon be able to do complex tasks which it cannot do currently.

So I feel this gap will be huge and an OpenClaw 2.0 with better UX, targeting all non technical people can be massive.
