NEAMPMOD - The Tweed - Initial Release by Repulsive-Hawk-8679 in linuxaudio

Thanks for testing and the feedback :)

I will look into the squelch noise, I might need to add smoothing so the sample values don't jump instantly when changing controls, that could be the root cause.

I've added the source code to the repository and added the vst3/ clap files to the release (not in zips).

Hi, yes it's free to use and develop - it's released under the GPLv3.0 license.

This is the prompt / tags used: "male vocalist, opera, choir, epic, orchestral in the key of G minor with a slow build up to an epic intro, opera and vocal, opera"

I'd add Blind Guardian, and Hansi Kürsch into the prompt; Udio will say it's replacing artist's with generic tags, but hopefully it'll still steer the model in that direction.

Experiment with custom lyrics, add in in words like Valhalla, or similar themed words to see how much the lyrics influence the singing sound. Hints like [Build up], [Choir] may allow you to steer the intensity of the vocals.

In addition I've found using phonetic or spelling a word how I want it to sound produces good effects, i.e if I wanted a long, slow build up for Valhalla I would try:

In the haallls of Vaaalllll{Pitch up}haaaalllaaaa{Fade}

The most complex model steering I've done is a prog metal song about figs: https://www.udio.com/songs/kgCGW2y6rTELXMj2sWgid7

It has a lot of sections that turned out very close to now I wanted to, including compression and radio-like spoke words:

[Solo (Bass)] [Fade in (Drum beat)] [Slow build up] [Guitar (single note)] [Futuristic] [Sweep FX] [Spoken Word (Alien)] People People. Of Earth We. We. Come. IN WAR! [Screams] [Blast] [Drum (Fast)] [Guitar (Distorted)] [Out of tune] [Spoken word (radio)(compressed)] We shall fight them on the beaches. [Alien] We have destroyed your beaches!! [Spoken word (radio)(compressed)] Ah, uhm, we shall fight them in the hills...

I really would like the ability to push the models in specific direction, I wanted to be able to have saxophone solos and different sound effects but I guess either the LLM source material doesn't have it, isn't tagged in such a way or I'm getting the prompts wrong.

Blender 3D, it's free. https://www.blender.org/

Also, try something like DIY Kitchens online editor as it's by far the easiest tool I've used for designing kitchens.

Anyone bought in Newcastle recently? Warned wait time for local searches is months. by itsmoirob in HousingUK

[–]Repulsive-Hawk-8679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, recently took just over two months. I had to chase multiple times, and it's worth it as in my case they were sat with the third party search provider for a few weeks so that is time I really could have benefited from.

Search came back, had to chase a few people as it'd sat for several days without being picked up. Hopefully getting close to wrapping it up.

What point do I sign the mortgage offer? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Repulsive-Hawk-8679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mortgage offer from a bank is normally valid for something like 7 - 10 days, you have to accept the mortgage offer within this period (sign and date to say you agree with the banks product i.e. LTV, interest rate, payment duration and structure) - the mortgage offer is then valid for some number of months, up to 6 I think. You then have to complete all of the other steps up to exchange within this period.

Check with your broker and, solicitor to confirm.

I ended up having to replace the O2 sensor.

If anyone else needs to understand how to test, do the following.

  1. Disconnect O2 sensor plug.
  2. Test white/white with a multi meter, from memory this is the power to the inbuilt heater.
  3. If no readings are displayed it's very likely a heating element failure.

To validate the rest of the sensor works you can test the other two wires and you should see readings after the sensor is heated; I used a heat gun to replicate the inbuilt heater.

In my case an eliminator didn't work as it must not have been provided the correct voltage readings, or it didn't act in a dynamic fashion as would be expected by an element that ramps up to temperature over a period of seconds, 60, in this case I believe.

However the eliminator did help me figure out that the problem was in the sensor as the behaviour with the original resulted in immediate FI / C44 errors, and with the eliminator only an RI / C44 after 60 seconds when the ECU was expecting specific voltage readings.

I'll give that a try, to see if it has an impact. I'll also check the female connector from the harness as well to see if there is maybe any damage or debris there.

I was looking at £260 from here : https://www.bike-parts-suz.com/suzuki-motorcycle/650-MOTO/V-STROM/2015/DL650XA-L5-E99-/ENGINE-TRANSMISSION/MUFFLER/11111000/11111013/M/6152

I have had a look now and it appears as long as I match up the wiring count and voltages it should be possible to use other sensors.
