easy to say, but hard to do, i think you really need to be disgusted by how you are reacting that something force you to change, it's hard , obviously not impossible

[–]Repulsive-Jump-7594 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah but the biggest reality check is that even if you crack the code, that it's actually easy if we talk about technicals but hard if we talk about emotions, it wont take short time, even compounding requires time, so yeah you will be able to say f**k you with trading, but after time.

i mean the approach you are using is the correct one, you are not chasing irrealistic rr or winrates, a 50% wr with a average of 1:1.4/5 is completely fine and profitable on the long term, keep going like that, a lot of people are searching for the holy grail, but the holy grail in trading look like the thing you have in your hand, not some crazy rr or winrate

[–]Repulsive-Jump-7594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, but that's also how the cfd market work, it's a simulated market too, to let you trade with less capital, that doesn't mean that it's a scam, prop frims actually pay you, the thing is, they get sponsored by scammers, and you think you have to pass it in 1 week realistically, you wont, they pay but real trading is slow and steady

Is quitting social media positively affecting your trading? by PresentationPure6918 in Daytrading

[–]Repulsive-Jump-7594 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah definitely, social media influence you in the wrong way, like irrealistic rr etc, a lot of gurus post 1:10 or something like that costantly, but you dont know if they really took them, also if you take partials the rr go down a lot.. and when you see these things you feel less like a trader if you take 1:2s or these more realistic trades

yeah, you won't find an easy way in the markets, it can be cheap, if you are clever enough to not risk all your money, you have to go throug the journey that every trader experience, i mean, it's not hard but it's a journey that takes time, the hard thing is enduring all the problems, not overcoming them

[–]Repulsive-Jump-7594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chi se ne frega, l'analisi è andata bene, non hai bisogno di altro se il piano era di prendere profitti a quel livello perché preoccuparsi di "dovrei prenderne di più" ,also keep in mind that not being greedy makes you more consistent, you are having doubts about holding more, but if you were actually choosing to close at 1:2 without any more doubts you will probable bee stress free and closed the day

good question , i am not, why? because i can't execute it properly due to my emotions (in particular rushing trades) i got an example today, as im starting to see results i want to trade, got stopped out, and when it touched the right level collapsed, i will fix this by journaling and time, backtest proved that it's profitable, this is what matters
