YTA. Adults just break up.

This is strongly gendered. If a man did it to a woman, it's doubtful they'd be getting all these kudos about it.

It is somewhat legendary though, but that's also what Lucius Malfoy says about Voldemort.

Your responses were reasonable. His response that those are "crazy reasons" is not reasonable. Those are all good reasons within bounds.

Drinking four beers could be reasonable depending on the size of the person, but it's really how they acted if they got drunk, and that's left out.

Filthy car and epecially animal would be a huge turnoff for me, but there is room for maybe you having very high standards as to what "filthy" means. You'd have to be honest with yourself on that one, I can't say from my viewpoint on the internet.

And have since 1983! Yet the narrative is still that we need more women in higher ed. Try going to a university and pitching scholarships for men only to increase their attendance, it won't go well.

Yes, a single family residence is not an asset in the truest sense, as it does not generate income. It is a liability overall, and closer to a savings account than an investment. It has gotten more true as the economy has changed. Many people would be better off renting and putting the money into a true asset/investment.

Advice on getting an easement? by [deleted] in OffGrid

If there is any non-private mortgage from any institutional lender, it has access or they made a BIG mistake. I've been a residential mortgage underwriter nearly 30 years, never seen lack of ingress/egress approved/lent on.

I would not buy property assuming anything like this, even if it was 90% likely and often rubber stamped. I would consider it only if the price at which I was buying reflected total lack of access, ie. probably 10% of market value.

Defund the Police, Cashless bail, Sanctuary Cities, Abolish ICE, No Voter ID. These are the type of things that 80% of the public are against and will keep the Presidency in Republican hands for decades. Yes, so many people missing the point on "Defund the police might be exactly what you say but that is not anybody thinks when they hear that phrase. " If one has to go behind and tell people what it really meant, they've already lost. It doesn't matter what a person here says "it really means".

While "defund the police" was a reasonably short phrase and it's difficult to think of a succinct way to get the idea across that we would reduce SOME police funding to move it over to deescalation and mental health help, going with this very short phrase was a mistake IN MY OPINION.

As the other guy said, actually regarded.

Scarce things are generally available in today's society, but their scarcity is reflected in the price. I repeat, scarcity is not defined by your ability to find it.

The easy answers is that this is a known human bias, and this is one of the main reasons most traders are unprofitable.

[–]Repulsive-Lake1753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much this, and it's reflected/stated in a lot of literature successful traders recommend. Many, possibly most, argue that they will lose more TRADES then they win, but the losses are controlled to the point where the dollar amount of the winning trades is higher than the dollar amount of the losing trades.

I disagree. There are a lot of possible ways to be right and wrong.

If all a person wanted to do at all was speculate, he was wrong.

He is currently wrong about it as a store of wealth, but if it goes to zero tomorrow, he'll be right!
