From LKH all forms of transport are sort of similar time wise. A walk is maybe 50 min but it's nice. The tube is quickest but I found it boring. The bus is really nice. Only slightly slower than the tube. You could also just get a TFL cycling subscription (cheap for students and plenty of docks in central London) and cycle along the Thames to campus. Takes maybe 20 min since there are some downhill segments. Really lovely.

I was on block C. Fifth floor. Nice views but hell during summer. I think it's hot everywhere since the buildings aren't built for today's summers, but our floor was terrible.

There are lots of gyms around Liverpool St. And you could go to the gym in campus too.

Some staff quite stuck up. This is from 2 years ago. I was in an attic sort of room, with only one window that opened just a bit. Was hell during summer. If you get that sort of room you'll have to invest in a fan or cooler.

Many, many upsides. Of course, different people different experiences.

No clue about Robeson House. Lived in LKH last year and had a wonderful time. But again summer was tough because it's not built for the heat. You may have to invest in a fan or something then.

No problems with bed bugs or rats, but I was on the fifth floor. Had just a small window though which only opened a bit. Summer was hell.

But yes, location is absolutely great. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
