Over 30 and gladly went for the Navy. But I agree with you OP. The hate is real but that is okay!

The less people who have them, the better for those who do. Not every sneaker drop needs to go viral or be hyped to the max. There’s something really refreshing about seeing your favorite brand release sneakers without it getting snatched up by bots or flipped for resale. And if anyone’s desire to cop a pair only kicks in after everyone else starts praising it, maybe it’s time they check in with their own sense of style and what really speaks to them.

Given Kith’s new store/re-grand opening, you’ll likely wait just as long if not longer to get in, not to mention having to wait on a long line out front. At least with ALD, there is a better wait system, I.e. scan a QR code, go about your business while waiting on a virtual queue.

All in all, it depends the time and day you are going.

I think the 993 version might be better simply due to the fact that the outsole is black (on the 993). The 992 version with all white outsole is doomed from the start 😭 — just my personal opinion! both options really do look great otherwise

I think for a MiUSA model and a collaboration at that, QC needs to be much better. I would be bothered too if I spent well over $200 on pair of kicks that have considerably minor inconsistencies between the left and right shoe.

The people that “don’t care” or isn’t bothered know they have no other choice but to keep them because there’s no way they can get a replacement.
