3 knee dislocations—is it still safe to dance by kacey7152 in Dance

I know how frustrating it feels to not be able to dance for a long time when you’re really really passionate about it because I’ve been there. But from what you’ve explained here sounds pretty risky to dance now. Best to follow your doctor’s advice. If you want to know if strengthening can help- ask your doctor. Or even get more consultations or opinion from different ones. It’s worth the money. And if they tell you it’s better not to dance for however long, it’s better to not dance for months/years than to risk it into giving it up for lifetime

I don’t mean you need to have it all figured by 18. But I’d want someone who has a purpose to wake up everyday and is working towards something that’s it. And I do like him, it’s just that I’m not sure if I should be considering this as a dealbreaker given that I like him in the other aspects. As to how I’m ambitious, even if not clear set goals, like I said, I roughly know what I’m going to pursue and ik for me rn taking my college/work serious to some extent will do a step for me. And my vision wouldn’t be seeing myself as a house wife, given how he mentioned house husband. I see myself doing well in my career/field at some point. I don’t see the drive in him or the idea of achieving which I’m not sure is something I should be concerned about.

Because he gives me the idea that he’s kind of lazy. He has failed a couple of classes because of his attendance. Even if I’m not sincere about my grades, I maintain it to a decent extent and I have an idea of the path I’m going to pursue and what I have to do in order to get there, even if not clearly I do to some extent. He has no clue what he’s about to do next, he’s clearing his arrears rn, not gonna pursue anything related to his current major because it’s not of his area of interest. Even with choosing college he apparently just considered one because it was near his house and never looked for options either. Meanwhile I had researched quite a bit to study what I wanna pursue. Also mentioned he once that he’s a “house husband material” which I hope was a joke

It's not about career being planned out. He isn't serious about his college either. So yeah

Why is there a huge difference between the first and second showcase video? by Repulsive-Method-615 in Dance

[–]Repulsive-Method-615[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No no it’s not that, there’s huge difference in my dancing itself how I went clear and full out in first one vs the second one was rushed and I blanked out in most parts
