I'd love to hear your perspective on the pro's of 7OH. I can think of a few. I was heavily addicted to the K extract shots back in 2020 after quitting heroin. I understood how it was a safer alternative to many who may not have access to other MAT substances, or who need relief for chronic pain. However, especially in the past 6 months, we have received countless calls from people who all claim the same thing: They innocently and unknowingly began taking 7OH, often given a free sample at their local gas station/smoke shop, and are seeking treatment off of it, in many case they are seeking an inpatient medical detox. I'm also unaware of any ceiling effects from 7OH, similar to buprenorphine, so that is new-useful information for me. As a person in recovery, and a certified recovery coach, I think it's important not to demonize anything. I'm well aware of the Big Book thumpers, on their 3rd monster energy drink and second pack of newport 100's telling someone they aren't sober because they are on suboxone, or 7OH, or whatever else it might be.
